Improvements or changes you would like to see in SFV

The best i can do is “USFIV PC has a good Netcode.”

I would not mind some kind of roll, like cvs2 rolling. I hope parrying never comes back, ever.

EDIT: On topic, I hope they don’t do the whole “appealing to the SFII days for good ol’ nostalgia sake” marketing campaign. Please, you’ve beat that to death with every spinoff and release with SF characters. Try something new, like what Funamizu did with ST and 3s (and his other great games).

While it would be cool I doubt most players would like characters having a conversations during fights. It’s one of the more annoying aspects of Blazblue.

When someone says 3s is a defensive game where you can’t attack or you’ll get parried they’re just telling you they’re clueless and have never played past low level. No need to engage with that lol.

But yeah if you love 3s then play 3s. It’s a great game. People still play it. You don’t need a new game with the same mechanics.

Personally it looks a lot too much like XT to me. They should do something compete my different from the 4 and xT lineage.

I don’t think you understood my post. Unless you’re saying reactions don’t exist, don’t help get damage or count for anything in street fighter at all?
A proportion of the elements that give advantage to the winning player has to go to reactions unless the game has no speed. The higher the speed, the higher the proportion. Between two equal skill players with unequal reaction time, in a fast game: the one with reactions wins, in a slow game: it can go either way.

Doesn’t have to be a full blown conversation, sounds some dialogue here and there during the fight.

after watching the gameplay trailer, I did not see any parries which is a good thing. If parries were in it they would have been shown in the trailer by now

The game is still a work in progress. Parries can be implanted later.

Parries needed… No St fireball drain fest, and no usf4 walk back and forth for 20 seconds. Let get in there.

With 3s parry, they’d crouch then stand back up too.

Well obviously you can parry in 3rd strike, and obviously if you do get parried you can eat a super for free. Theres no point in talking to 3rd strike fanboys anyway, they will never agree with anything you say.

You’re an idiot and you don’t know how to play SF3. If you get parried all the time it’s because you’re being predictable as fuck, not because they’re “mashing” on parry. You have to be unpredictable so as to not get parried but I guess that’s too much for your brain to grasp, so why don’t you just keep on going for jump HK > sweep like a real smart man.

Fact is there are parries in 3rd strike. Fact is you can parry into supers. No one wants to get parried into super. Stop acting like parrying into supers doesn’t exist, stop acting like parrying into supers never happens. Maybe I should show you some tournament videos just to remind you that it does happen, even in high level play.
