I have only four at the current moment. I’m still awaiting for the more of the rest of the passes. The four passes I have must be returned to the facility or else I’m charged extra. So, I’m getting some disposable ones to give out to you guys. Just bear with me until early next week and we’ll see what’s up. If in the event, I am not able to get enough passes for everyone it will be on a priority basis meaning the people bringing the heaviest equipment first, second would be the the people who registered the earliest. Shinblanka you will get one for certain. But worry not everyone, I’ll ensure I can get as many of you parking passes as possible.
According to the Pre-register list this tournament can easily be completed in the given time. My original idea was to post this tournament up, and wait to see if there was enough demand for two days. There wasn’t really enough for two days thus that’s why it’s one. The most pre-registered game has around 20 people or so. No where near Final Round’s 100+ participants per game. The plan is to have around 10 televisions (or more if enough people come through) running several different games. This is exactly the reason why I am giving out free/discounted entry to those who attend and bring equipment to my tournament.

It’s imperative that someone brings a copy of Alpha Anthology (PS2), King of Fighter XI (PS2), and Guilty Gear: Accent Core. Those are games that I myself am not going to be able to bring but several people have stated they are bringing those games. Make sure you guys bring them as early as possible.
Also, a question for Larry as Kajoq and I were talking about this the other day. For Super Street Fighter Turbo is it tournament style to play Speed 2 or Speed 3. I have to sort this out before the tournament because I want to make sure everyone is on the same page. This question goes out also to anyone else who can answer it.

And I think Turbo 2 is the speed that should be used. Not 100%,but thats what we use for Super Sundays on 2dF

The emulation on GGPO/2df is a little fast and thats why everyone picks Turbo 2

Well all of us must come to an understanding before the start of the tournament on either Speed 2 or 3. The arcade board we’re playing with is Japanese according to Kajoq. If I am not mistaken the American boards are Speed 2 but if we are using a Japanese board what speed is best?
Also for Alpha 3 I know there’s two versions: One with the extra characters, and the one with arcade only characters. Which version would be best for this tournament?
I say speed 3 for Super Turbo, as for alpha3, i’ve seen japanese tourneys on youtube and they use the original arcade version( the one without deejay, fei-long etc.), so i say lets use that one.
I’m pretty sure the Japanese use Turbo 3, we use Turbo 2. I don’t know why we use different settings,but thats the way the elders wished it…
BTW, Larry is using Turbo 2 at Final Round. We should remain consistent.
I think the only problem with picking Alpha 3 Upper is that Evil Ryu is selectable. Otherwise it has a bunch of extra mid-tier characters.
