Have you tried all the USB ports on your PS3? Maybe one of them is going bad, or maybe there is a bridge on won of the connects on the pcb your ps3 doesn’t like.

Yeh tried different USB too, also removed all the wires and left only the turbo and one button, to test. But it didn’t work. :frowning:

Taeyoung Fanta is what you want.

True that it’s not easy, but it is doable. i was determined to make it work so i did. I used a dremel to widen the hole for the stick (needs to be 35mm) and drilled holes for the screws to mount it. To get the correct height for the stick i used extra nuts on the screws underneath the plastic. I couldn’t bottom mount the stick so it wasn’t clean looking but it worked perfectly. I have some pics of it posted in the etokki thread that i can’t seem to link to atm.

Edit: http://forums.shoryuken.com/t/etokki-com-the-shop-for-the-players-by-the-players/90602page-8 about halfway down. that pic was taken before i put some mini crown buttons in the small holes in the case.

Hey, just some quick questions, can I have a 11 buttons configuration with this pcb?

I mean, can I have Turbo/Guide in the same button?

I already have 2 PS360 with the same configuration and no problem so far… I know I’m talking about different pcbs but hey, maybe this could be done here too.

So I’m nearing completion on my custom stick, and about to get to soldering everything together…

So the question is, there’s three contact points on one side of the PCB, and I’d like to know what they do. Just in case they may be useful for something.

My stick only works for a minute or 2 on the 360 then the “please reconnect controller” message pops up. Tried it on ps3. It still works fine. I was able to play sf4 for an hour

help…:frowning:

So, I have a question. I just got my PCB in, ready to start soldering and such once I get my case (i want to do the whole project at once). I’m doing a fightboard (hitbox style stick)

My question, though, is this:

How would I wire the directional buttons so that left and right being pressed simultaneously = neutral? I want to make sure I don’t have any issues with being able to press both left and right simultaneously.

I want to make sure that all of the buttons can be pressed simultaneously except left and right, if that’s possible.

Buy one of these.

Or make your own.

I have wondered the same thing. It would be cool if it was for SOCD cleaning or even VCC or ground.

Ok so I need some help. I already have Crown CWB203A buttons and the Button wire harness for Paewang PCB. my question is how do i connect the wire harness to the buttons? I may need a very detailed explanation about that. Thanks!!

Question. I’m going to be putting my stick together tonight – can the inputs be grounded to the same ground the other buttons are daisy chained to? Just double checking.

Yes.

You will either need to solder the wire to the pins, or use Quick Disconnects (crimp the QD to the wire).

Got any one here got the templete for a Plexi?
Thinking to make a plexi at a shop near me (i’m a malaysian.)

But i dunno where to put the hole at the 4 corner.
Any one here got do plexi on they mayflash/joytron before??

Thanks for that. Now I got another question. I bought the rubberband spacers to go along with the Crown CWB203A buttons. How do I place them in the button hole correctly? Do I put the button through the hole and then put the rubber band on it?

I’ve never used them, but that method sounds correct

Hi all i recently got 2 of the mayfire sticks in a job lot of faulty controllers for about £11, one is a 2009 and the other a 2007. im looking at modding them both using this guide but im wondering how do you go about hooking them up to an xbox 360? (as thats what my event runs on) do i need to get an extra converter or are there other options? im looking to do it fairly cheap as ive just bought a lot of equipment to start up my weekly fighting game event.

Regards

ok so my stick is all wired up, i decided to add a female type b usb port to my build so i can use any length of cable. so i plug it into my mac and it recognizes it but when i plug it into my windows lappy, i move around the joystick and the thing bluescreens. also none of the buttons light up when im in the Properties of the game controller in Control Panel. what do you think is the problem

Anyone ever mounted an LS32 into a Mayflash with the 2007 PCB? I’m just wondering how differently I’ll need to do things since the PCB is common ground but the stick isn’t.

You won’t do anything different for wiring up the Joystick.
The Mayflash has eight wires for the Directionals, four Ground and four Signal.
The LS-32 has four Microswitches, each with two Terminals, one is Ground (COM), other is Signal (NO).

All you have to do is wire up all eight wires from the Mayflash PCB to the LS-32 Microswitches.

Or if you want, you can Daisy-chain the COM Terminals of the LS-32.
Going from for to one.

Then that would make one Ground and four Signal.
Then just wire that to the Mayflash PCB, since it is Common Ground, and only need one Ground.

So, wire up the Joystick as how you saw the stock Joystick was wired up.
Or Daisy-chain the COM Terminals.
