thanks laugh
Thanks a lot Laugh… Gotta mod my second stick… I will be ordering another set of joystick and buttons from u very soon.
Been having problems with both my Paewang PCB’s they keep pressing random buttons by themselves. The funny thing is that one worked fine for a year + so I really don’t know what is up with the PCB. Could this be a ground problem?
Hmmm… I’m curious about the stability of these PCBs. At the moment, I have to decide about either going with a DualStrike V2 + Xbox360 Pad Hack (about 55€ total - eating up space) or picking up the Datel PCB (same as Mayflash from what I’ve read) for about 25€. Does the Mayflash PCB has problems with input-lag? Or problems with multiple inputs? Some people claimed, that pressing over 3 buttons at a time is not possible / reliable (confirmed by other users on Amazon). Does that only affect stock Mayflash sticks, or does it also affect the extracted, rewired PCBs? Also, how do you solve the multi-console switching? Usually, you have to hold down a button to enter PS3- / PC-Mode (default is XBOX360). On my custom, I don’t have any additional button for that function…
Okay, I got my stick assembled today. However, I’m not able to get the buttons working with the Button Harness for Paewang PCB from etokki (connected one colored and one black wire to each button). Am I doing something wrong, or should I do it some other way?
My Mayflash is 2009 version.
Edit: I managed to fix it.
I accidentally had burnt the PCB around the ground that the ground didn’t get any input, so I just soldered a wire, that directly connects the ground to the spot from which the ground starts on the PCB.
I have the same question, but for me the number is “TG - Stick - A2 2006 - 11- 18” and its on the bigger PCB.
I have a weird problem where if I leave this PCB plugged in…my Xbox sometimes randomly turns on… unplugging the controller obviously stops this… I know my mate with this PCB also gets this sometimes…just wondering if anyone else has noticed this happening?
Thats interesting to think about, thanks for the info.
Here’s some pics of my wiring, perhaps you can give some advice? Thicker grounds? More of them? There is one going to all the buttons, and a seperate one for the stick…
Then it all goes together via the connection block.

6)then can i use tis ,http://www.etokki.com/MiscParts/Paewang Joystick Harness instead of
http://www.etokki.com/MiscParts/JLF-H Wiring Harness
I not good for soldering (n i didnt got the tools),
so, if i purchase all tis + screw, am i ready to mod my MAYFLASH?
You will need to solder… at least on your wire harness and buttons.
how i know is common or not common??
as for the button, i just notice that, if i buy Crown CWB203A, does it means that i no need to solder it like CWB203C?
i think my is 2009 as i open n check it.
thx bro. i already purchase the joystick harness for paewang n other item.
but i didnt go for the crown, mayb is bcoz i from malaysia, here normally can find Sanwa.
So i buy the Sanwa OBSF-30 Dark Ha.
Since i know my is non-common ground, does tis means i need 2 cut my joystick PCB?
I heard that i must.
Thanks, Now that you mention it…I just threw the PCB into the control panel…I didnt insulate it or anything…being wood I just left it sitting in there…I might look into properly mounting it and see if it makes a difference.
I do have it connected to an older Xbox…it does turn on with the slightest touch…Might be just that and a slight knock or vibration in those sanwa’s is enough to set it off…
Does anyone know where I can buy the Joystick Harnesses from somewhere in North America?
I’d rather avoid paying for shipping from Korea again since I forgot to order these when I initially ordered my Revolution PCB.
I think i got a problem for my PCB ==
not sure anyone got tis problem before or not.
I solder all the thing.
at 1st i test the button n stick all work perfectly.
but after i put my cover back up.
I re-tested my button, it not working anymore, but the stick still functioning.
Then i resolder again…but still not working … not sure is it i burn the GROUND or wat …
anyone face tis b4?
Hey Laugh. I recently have received a Paewang Revolution PCB, and this is the first time I have used one of these PCBs. Now, I am having a massive issue, and I’m totally stumped. The xbox 360 Won’t recognize the stick at all. It works 100% on my PS3 and on PC.
When I hold down turbo, it is going into 360 mode, the PC recognizes it as a 360 gamepad, and the ps3 gives the “Unknown device” warning when I plug it in, but when I plug in into the 360, no luck. I’ve tested both my USB ports, I have a TE with a Kitty kit in it, and it works just fine on my 360.
I am trying to see how I would wire to a Datel/Paewang pcb with a Arceye2 and Sparky jrs would work. Can someone give me a little assistance here??? xD
Hey there, I posted my stick in here a while ago. Problem: My PC screwed up all my controls for some reason, can someone help? I changed the layout so its square triangle l1 r1 and it works perfectly for street fighter and everything on my ps3, but on my computer with windows 7 32, it reads it as 4 1 8 7 (top) and then like 3 6 2 5 on bottom its the same with or without drivers. Also I can’t remap with the drivers because they fail so damn hard that i can perfectly remap the first row to 1234, but as soon as i put 5 on the button my layout changes to 1237 and then 5 867. And SSf4 ae on pc doesnt even read the joystick. Anyone can help?
EDIT: Mayflash btw
Can’t you use something like Xpadder and forgo the driver issue as well as play on AE?
