I honestly want to see if anyone can play another 2D fighter and tell me it’s basic movements are as good as 3S. Just walking forward and back, even dashing on every character is so perfect.

Well, 3SOE def has a crap online scene (at least on the east coast). Have you tried Karnov’s Revenge on GGPO? Usually has about 50 people in there all the time, and it plays hella better than OE.
my 3s online experience is one of 3 types of players. either
a)amazing players
b)absolute shit players
c)Japanese players, that i never play, always red circles under their names

the most bizarre I’ve come across is that 80% of the Chuns I’ve run into on PSN use only her roundhouse button. cr rh, her crossup roundhouse, and mashed legs from fullscreen away

SF4 teached Chun players to mash roundhouse sweep and do the df+hk move.

You should def give up on 3SOE. Its terrible. I had the same experience. You either play someone whos excellent or just a punching bag and my even green connections were generally crap.
Seriously, look into 3S at Karnov’s Revenge on GGPO. The connections are generally fantastic and it actually shows the persons ping. You can play endless matches or when you’ve had enough just ask someone else for a match. You can also chat with everyone in the lobby, or to the guy your playing in game.
Another option eould be Supercade. I personally havent had a great experience there yet, but I know a lot of people like it and its much easier to install than GGPO.
