If you use up your ground bounce, cartwheeling again will result in a forced, possibly unexpected tech. You can use the sudden ending to work in a nice mix-up with cross-ups, overheads, etc. with an assist like Frank’s cart and/or a feral dash in a read direction.
That sir is cheap… Wow, Never thought about using double ground bounces to force mixups before. I used to run a firebrand team with sent drones. I used to use a tactic where I would cause a hard knockdown in the corner and call drones while chargeing the unblockable. Drones in the corner hits toward techs and forces eather a block or the opponent to duck if they neutral or back roll. What happens if you use a double wall bounce? Soft knockdown in corner im guessing? If so it will force them in the corner further limiting their escape options…
If you use Arrow Kick, you can actually follow up with more of a combo in the corner like in Paulo’s corner BnB. If it’s with Jumping Roundhouse, though, the hitstun will usually wear off before they have the chance to reach the floor which can also allow for some interesting mix-ups after an unexpected air tech.

I got a new phone from this decade for Christmas, so I’ll be adding as many videos as I can to help with what the combos are supposed to look like. Apparently, every Jill player ever is too broke from buying her to afford any sort of legitimate recording junk, so we all just use phone cameras. I’d like to invest in something to do the job right, though.

Thank YeahDood. All I did was remove c:h: from his combo so that it would work as an anti-air.
This is great! Can’t wait to watch it I just picked up Jill after not playing Marvel for 5 months (thanks school -__-)

Oh one more thing does anyone has execution tips for Jill’s Feral Crouch cancels like Somersault > FC > Somersault > FC Roundhouse?
Feral Crouch cancels are extremely easy, especially if you hit the guy. Relish those freeze frames that come out on hit or block. You can also hold an attack button during the FC animation, and the Somersault or Roundhouse or Sweep will come out as soon as possible.

I got to sifting through the old thread so much for tech we’d recently found a whole bunch of that I suggested NSR redo the combo thread, but he said I should do it since I brought it up. This whole thing has been a fantastic concentrated group effort.
Get a consistent rhythm, it’s really not hard. Practice Feral Crouching, and Getting out of feral crouching.
It’s vital to her game.
Yeah I saw that the FC is EXTREMELY needed by watching your videos we also play the same team lol
I think I get it now so instead of doing 22S then hit H just do 22S hold H 22S then after the second Somersault hold M and do 22S right?
Haha no problem and thanks NSR, Paulo, YeahDood, AdmiralParmesan as well! I’m beyond happy to know you guys are working hard to help a noob like myself pick up Jill I always wanted to play her but always looked at her inputs for combos and would go “No way in hell I can pull this off”
I also was able to do Somersault to Roundhouse today in a combo even though it didn’t get anywhere near 700k I’m glad to know I can at least Feral Crouch three times in a combo
What team? I have many Jill teams.
Also, holding H down is only useful if you want somersault on the first possible frame. As you get used to Jill, you’ll use it less and less as you actually learn to hit H on the first possible frame of Feral Crouch.
Learning both methods is vital as well. Learning the traditional method (22S, hit H first possible frame), makes Feral whiffing a lot easier and consistent, while learning the Holding H method makes it less execution taxing on beginners and helpful in the neutral.
To get 700K combos, please read the first page of this ( Gangie’s Combo Revamp) thread, it should have enough videos and combo notations to help get you there :tup:
The main ones you should be looking at are
Paulo’s BNB
Dood’s 700K off a s.M
Ultimate Flip Kicks
Somersault combos.
All of those cover Jill’s regular hitconfirms.

I’m going to write those down and practice them later tonight after I beat Far Cry 3 lol I’ll try holding down H for now because I been hitting H on the first possible frame I can get it on but omg is the execution brutal after the first Somersault for me
Yeah I love that team more than my Wolverine Frank Strider team haha its way more fun I just gotta get used to the up/right angle on stick from Jill’s FC
I actually also find myself struggling with this when not performing the dash immediately from the crouch.
Its ridiculously hard to pull off for me if I don’t do the FC and almost instantly hold the stick up in that angle so glad I’m not the only one struggling with that one
