I’ve been playing around with Cartwheel just as a move to throw out. I had never realized how outrageous its hitbox is until I accidentally caught Strange with the tail end of it after he teleported behind me. I’m hoping this might actually be a legitimate defensive tactic against certain attacks.

Also, I’ve improved a lot since I stopped using magneto and just picked iron man up again, (I’ve been playing him since ultimate began, but dropped him not too long ago) I’ve already come up with some nasty setups, so i’ll be posting them later on ;D
So do we have optimized hard tag DKD combos for Jill without assists? I started to transition away from Flying Ve’s double bounce ender towards Paulo and d00d’s stuff, but it’d still be nice to keep the tech if I ever wanted to use it. I liked the reset options that came with it.
I don’t think I’ve even seen mention of that for months. The consensus was that Jill is mostly gimped by having an OTG assist, and then I never saw it again. Here’s one I just made up for you, though, works off pretty much any confirm so long as you transition directly to Somersault or :h: > Somersault:
Somersault > :uf: > j:h::s: > :h: > :d::d::s: > Somersault > :d::d::s: > :qcf::h: > j:qcf::h:
From another confirm:

Being a double-bouncer like Ve’s, it only works in the corner. It would pleasantly surprise me to discover that Jill is actually capable of setting up a :h:DKD solo without the corner.
It’s ancient I know, but I’m stubborn/would stop playing marvel for long periods of time…until recently. And yeah, she really does need better assists. Like we were discussing earlier, OTG in the corner gives you conversions off of an air throw, but when you can just apply pressure and start a new combo anyway it doesn’t seem worth it.
Thanks for this, btw. I’ll probably mess around and see if I can’t extend it/give it more carry with useful non-OTG assists.
No problem and thanks; it would be neat to see revived old tech with better applications.
Jill is extremely assist-dependent even just to function, which is something that is continuously reinforced as I keep learning the character.

I had a brief back-and-forth with Hououen and decided that those were two imperative subjects that should be covered, but I neglected to cover. They are entirely freehand and any criticisms and additions would be most appreciated.

Unfortunately, it still doesn’t work. One cool thing I DID learn from pulling it off, though, was that Sweep Kick can actually be canceled with special moves. That is one weird move.
I think this could be incredible, actually, if paired with flip kick loops. I played with it; much like with regular flip kick loops, you can do up to seven flip kicks after a sweep kick, and if you cut it short to four, you can end it with a Roundhouse to the regular Somersault > TK Cartwheel, steal the corner > Somersault > MGS ender for 662k, which is easier and about 10k more damage than sweep kick > six flip kicks > cartwheel > roundhouse > dash > Somersault > MGS. Works anywhere, too!

New jill mid screen combo, with a ton of setup opportunities in there, I don’t know if it’s been done before, it’s just a mod of the flip kick loop. Does 690-700k mid screen
