I'm a sellout

so just the startup is throwable? Or what? I need something definitve because other wise I am going to have to change some of my strategy

Mutant XP agrees with me that I, Fatbear of OREGON, am the undisputed best Necro player in North America.

Something useful:
My understanding is that b+FP sort of moves you out of range in some strange way. You can’t tell from looking at the shadow so it must work differently than moves like Urien’s RH. If you do it point blank I think it’s always throwable. You should be doing it around your opponents max throw range.

To bad my Necro owns yours. I have special necro vs. necro powers.
Don’t worry though soon you’ll see I really have a better necro than you.

Necro vs Necro is such a weird match-up.

Word. I don’t get it at all.

my Dudley killed your Necro though :wgrin:.

come up for our next tourney, mr. bear. you too Mono.

I’ve been sticking with Slam Dance most of the time when playing Necro, since it just covers Necro’s near point blank weaknesses. On paper you would think to go SA3 all the time, but people know that you are trying to stun them when using SA3, which makes it harder, and easier for you to get baited while trying to chase after stun. With SA2 on, you’ve got the edge on wakeup, or if you lose pressure.

I would be very interested in the many types of resets that Necro could do into Slam Dance.

Okay I learned the hard way, playing Necro against shoto’s is fucking hard. :wasted:

Also what are some good tactics (especially when up close) against a good Makoto and Alex player? :bluu:

Pick SA2 against makoto and alex if you can’t take the pressure. =)

Other than that, throw up b+MP to keep them from dashing in. When makoto hits you with a hayate, try and jump away or jump and drill kick, since her karasuka beats out all of your specials/normals.

Alex is a little tougher, cause you’ll have to zone him until you knock him down. Once you knock him down, pressure him. Just watch out for wake-up stomps/supers. Other than that, elbow him 6x to death.

 I think I’ll have my hands full against Makoto and Alex and them Shoto’s. In other words my Necro will have a black eye or two after each session.

As for the db+FP 6x to death I only managed to get up to four on a Urien player. Never made more then two against Alex. Hugo is a huge target though. I wonder how much elbows can be launch at Hugo?

I need a Necro avatar…I liked beating this one dude at my work place with the taunt.

Urien, Hugo, and Alex can be hit with elbow 6x.

also as I have noted a million times hugo, urien and alex can all be hit by x3 db fierce after either light tornado hook in the corner or back fierce in the corner. man I rarely can ever get more than 3 off and almost never get an oppurtinty for even that in a match.

Yeah, 3’s the limit after a jab tornado hook

On makoto in the corner, it’s fun to: neutral/forward throw, db+FP, b+MP, repeat db+FP & b+MP cycle

pops in SFAC into X-Box and practices

(For the noobs) This only works on a stunned makoto.

Hehe I’m not sure if I can even get Makoto into stun yet alone into the corner but I’ll remember that juggle if I ever do run into that situation.

Now that I am really trying to practice some corner traps and combos Necro seems to be more fun. It’s just hard to land stuff on opponents but I’ll eventually find out a way.

I’m having a hard time landing multiple db+FP’s though on the big dudes now. I only get up to two hits. The timing seems awkward.

Don’t feel bad. I don’t do it, and I’m Thongboy for goodness’ sake.

N

I land that shit everytime on any character cause I’m the fattest bear around.

You are just fat

Okay I ain’t worried about Urien even though I keep on losing against a Urien player most of the time, I just feel comfortable playing against a Urien player regardless the outcome of the match.

Now about Ibuki… I mean, she’s easy to beat on if locked down on a corner but damn this one dude who played her sure made her really fast.
