I hear 3s runs much better on 2DF than GGPO. Something about dropping frames, not entirely sure.
projectjustice, its true. I use 2DF for 3S but GGPO for any SNK game… GGPO overall runs smoother, but 3S seems to be an exception.

big deal the ps3 patch is out and no word on the x-box patch, I’m super pissed right now to be honest. Why they couldnt get a simultaneous release is completely beyond me.

the patch is incredible: However it doesn’t reset your stats which is utter bullshit!
Last post ignition made they said the xbox patch is still being worked on, if its just waiting for approval then ignition should tell us that.
I’m not being a drama queen, I spent 65 dollars on this game(+ another 15 or so for the guide) and I would like to get my moneys worth. If I cant voice my opinion here then where can I? Seriously man grow up.

Yellow matches play really damn good now. It’s comparable to SF4, not perfect, I had trouble hopping (because I use the up-down method) on occasion. Yellow matches were perfectly playable and provided good competition.
Red matches were playable, but it was like a bad 3 bar match in SF4. You could tell what shouldn’t work but still did, like getting hit with a wake up dp because your run did not stop when it should have.
110% improvement though. I haven’t had a blue bar match yet.
Oh, and people?
How about more 2 and 3 player rooms? 8 player rooms with 3 different red bar matches from Europe and Mexico and a 20 minute wait between fights is lame. Seriously, check your setting before starting a room.
There is a huge, massive, gargantuan difference between wanting to do something and actually planning on doing it.
I, too, want to improve the netcode on KoF12. Doesn’t mean shit, does it?

yes I can, I thought it was pretty clear that my last response was me poking fun at myself for getting so upset in the 1st place, I was in a bitchy mood about other things at the time.
Personally I’ve played this game since its release, and if I find a yellow bar I usually get a good match in, its just sometimes hard to find people online, hopefully if the patch is good more people will start playing, I really dont want to see such a good game fall by the wayside.
Can they code a patch that makes your controller vibrate like in Tekken 5dr when it’s your turn to fight online? I can’t count the number of times I’ve changed the channel to watch a little tv while waiting, or had to walk away from my ps3 and do something while waiting some 10-15 minutes for my turn, then remember 3 or so minutes too late and come back to an empty room and a bunch of angry messages. Online play is awesome now, but still this happens a little too ften. Who has 15-20 minutes to sit there staring at other people’s matches (who are playing characters you aren’t going to pick, so watching their strats only helps marginally) waiting to play?
Or at least a kick button so the champion of the room can kick you so he can get on with other matches.
