Family Guy higher than Futurama = bogus list
Listing making in general is stupid, but I don’t understand why lists of 100 are made. After the top 5, the rankings are almost random.
Daria should’ve been on the list. Hey Arnold should’ve been on the list. Maybe Mighty Max. Can I get some Garfield and Friends? How about some Heathcliff?

i agree Loony Toons should be number 1. Without it there would be no Simpsons and they stuff they did in those shows was legendary. I could sit down and watch some Merry Melodies of Elmer Fudd tryin to blow a furry little rabbits head off. you don’t get that shit in Cartoons anymore. Instead we get shit like The Fairly Odd Parents. Even stoned I can’t watch that show.
No doubt. Family Guy wishes it had the cleverness and delivery of Futurama. Not knocking it or anything, but it shouldn’t be higher than Futurama.

As a pretty big Family Guy fan, I agree with this statement.
Futurama should be higher than Family Guy. Simpsons isn’t funny anymore. Samurai Jack man is one of the best animated series I’ve watched and deserved a higher ranking. South Park is the funniest animated cartoon out.
I honestly have a problem with The Simpsons being number one, especially over Looney Toons. And a lot of the placements on this list, but thanks for the poster on the first page that made a list of it. I tried to read the complete list a few days ago but fuck that one entry per page shit.
Speak on that. This show had a solid body count over a couple episodes. I don’t think I will ever forget the one episode they literally had a family get massacred by a revive barbarian in the woods. They didn’t show the bodies but the show kept it much real, when it came to people dying.
Loony Tunes earns serious points for being groundbreaking and of fairly consistent quality, but those are only two factors in the mix. I would argue that The Simpsons, while not as much of a leap forward, makes its own mark with the sophistication of its storytelling and humor, and with the three-dimensionality of its characters.
(Speaking, of course, about the 90s episodes. You cannot reasonably expect a show that runs for any longer than that to maintain the same standard of quality.)
