I just looked through the entire thread and couldn’t find that post (and I can see deleted/modified posts).
I’ll probably get slammed for this but I did see the post he is talking about, it was a while ago and I believe it was on the things SF4 related thread, the post was by someone with a pride logo and a hand holding lightning and like rainbow banner in the backround… I know this doesn’t help and again people will probably result in people slamming me as well.

Don’t know if the guy was a mod or just trying to help out. But I guess from that statement marvaz went ahead and started selling though he should have read up on the rules to begin with.
Ok I see, the user he’s thinking of is jdm714. Basically, he was trying to explain to you about the rules we have. Why he deleted it, I’m uncertain.
However, he’s not a mod I think. At least not in here, the mods as it stands are MegamanDS/Fir/Valaris for TO section.
Yes, it was I who answered to marvaz.
First marvaz asked if he can sell his Arcade Sticks yet; directed to Trading Outlet Moderators.
Second Post, marvaz said that no one else can answer.
I took the “no one” as a cue that I did not have to be Moderator to reply back to marvaz.
The initial Post from me was that marvaz able to sell, since from his Join Date of March 2009, being September 2009, he allowed to sell.
But things were tricky, and I didn’t notice at first.
When reading first Post of marvaz, him using the word “yet” in Post, got me think that he already had the required Fifty Posts.
I thought that meant marvaz already knew about the Rules, but was just unsure of what Month able to start selling on SRK Forum.
I got attention of the problem when I saw Post of Fir in that All Things Street Fighter IV Thread.
Fir deleted the Post of marvaz, explaining that marvaz does not have at least Fifty Posts.
Went back to Edit my Post.
Put in the Fifty Posts required.
Also said that I am not Moderator.
And then I deleted the Post when I thought things done.
So all this was my fault.
I read into what and how people write too much.
The way I comprehended the Posts of marvaz did not help things be good.
First time I did not check Post Count too.
This time I did not check, because of how I read Post to mean.
When someone ask if can sell, or I see a new Member put up sale, I always check.

We recently had a guy in prem who has been here since 01 and didn’t have 100 posts.

All custom arcade stick builders are located in USA only? Only curiosity.
A couple in the UK, one in sweden, 2 in Canada. Just off the top of my head.

Anyone know what the demand is like for sticks in the UK, I’d really like to start making custom ones and don’t have much of the kit, if I got hold of the kit i’d need to know I could sell a bunch.
That or is there anyone in the UK who sells cases, I can’t see anyone in the list or any of the replies thus far.
Hmm, I can’t speak for the UK since I don’t live there, but I think most of the stick sellers on here are U.S. based. Thus, you may have pretty good luck. You’ve still got 6 months to gather the supplies you would need anyway.

You mean before SSFIV comes out?
It’s because you have to be a member of the forum for at least 6 months and have 50 posts before you can sell or trade through the trading outlet here, if that was your intention.
That is right.
It is only when April that you can start selling.
So you have a lot of time to gather materials and build Cases.
Plenty of time to get your Post Count up too.
But don’t do it by making Post in a lot of Threads not contributing.
I saw a guy last month just made a Post in a new Thread every two minutes.
Right when he got to Fifty Posts, his next Post was a Thread of his to sell something.
He did all those Posts because to make Thread in Trading Outlet, at least Fifty are needed.
What a not cool guy.
