Change HSD to provide more moves special proration properties. That is, make it so certain multi-hitting moves don’t count every hit of the ability toward HSD. This really neuters the ability for certain characters to do high damage combos.

Point being, if damage was the problem, the better solution would be to decrease damage scaling or at worst, leave it unchanged ( not necessarily across the board, as characters have unique damage scaling ), but decrease the actual move damage ( not necessarily across the board again, as a lot of characters are fine ).

Personally it really pains me to see how high up in tournament brackets I see people still using Week 1 combos, and I certainly wouldn’t want any changes made that only encourage it further.

In fact, while we remove TAC, let’s just remove that El Maiz guy too. He makes such stupid posts. You should all listen to my stupid posts instead.

Sentinel: Put some synergy between sentinel’s moves. I would suggest the mouth lasers and frying pan. Make it so, if sentinel hits you with the frying pan, you transform into a giant piece of bacon or eggs for 10 seconds. Within those 10 seconds, if you get hit by a mouth laser, he will eat you and your character will die. I think this is an interesting mechanic just like dark phoenix because well… it’s never been in a fighting game before, and I think it would add a lot of diversity in play style. It would also be good for younger audiences because it would teach them how to cook with the Iron Chef himself.

Make multi-hitting moves only count as one hit for terms of damage scaling. Yes, I’m aware that this will let Dark Phoenix do even more damage than usual, but it would go a long way toward making Morrigan and Hsien-Ko viable.

Also make X-Factor cost a meter
