2nd play through is much more enjoyable and I understand the whole story from the beginning now.

Yeah, sneak is the best. I played as a sneaking Wood Elf Archer. Shit was amazing. I didn’t do anything in smithery or enchanting, so I just ended up with an Orcish Bow with Ancient Nord Arrows or Orcish Arrows. With 3 damage upgrades, zoom, time slow, and critical chance in archery and triple damage with sneak attacks, I was one-shotting damned near everything. lol.

Man that review is probably the best game review I’ve seen in a while “demon whack their sin staff” has me rolling, kind of hope the name “sin staff” becomes a thing now.

Yes but more importantly, I have access to stuff like Mission Mojave which fixes over 9200 other errors in the game that the official patches didn’t fix! 
For skyrim you have stuff like SkyBoost and other performance enhancing mods which is damn nice.
It randomly happens to me every time I visit there and I laugh because yes, if the archmages are out, they beat the dragons ass. If they are inside, I go inside, wait a few hours, come back out and join the archmages outside. Oh lord do they beat down the dragons. At level 40 now, and I still just sit and watch them kill it.
Hey, does anybody else find thief op as hell? I am level 40, and I have maybe cleared 2-3 places on the map lol. I have basically spent 80+ hours sneaking, and pickpocketing for 100,000+ gold lifetime, and hit 100 smithing and now have 75 enchanting because i get so much free money. Btw, college of winterhold = infinite free soul gems…
On top of that I chose wood elf. Killing giants since lvl 1 lol. So wait, glass is better than dragon? wtf?
playing a high elf. i can’t resist the urge to burn, and hack away at everything i see. i am trying to level up my sneak and archery though. how do you level up your thief? just steal a lot? or is there something else?
Sneak everywhere, even in towns, it just levels up really fast. Archery is kind of hard, because mostly a thief does critical sneak attacks. The trick pickpocketing though, yes.
Walk in a room, thegame will auto save, and pickpocket to your delight. If it is really crappy stuff and a guard arrests you, just pay the $25 fine or whatever. Alos, lockpick everything. All the time. Even stuff you have picked before or higher level stuff because even fails give skill. As I said I am level 40 and I have cleared maybe 3 places. Basically all my leveling comes from sneaking and stealing in towns. Pickpocket people on roads too, even if they catch you you can just kill them 
Damn, I’m running Skyrim on an i5 with an Nvidea 550ti and framerates are taking a hit. Thought I’d run Ultra just fine, guess it taxes more than I thought it would, especially with the SkyrimHD mod. Even high detail is chugging a bit outdoors. I’ll install Skyboost tonight, but is there any other ninja tech I can try with this?
Related topic, but not Skyrim specific, how big a boost will two 550’s in sli give? Haven’t looked much into it, but I’m hearing it would be on par with at least a 570.

Decided to update from 1.1 to newest version (read they finally fixed a bunch of quest bugs) and got the CK. Unofficial Skyrim patch now a reality. The HD texture pack is 3.1 gigs and you can get it from steam. Haven’t played Skyrim in over a month. Will boot it up later to see check out the changes.
THIS GAME IS SO MUCH FUN
I’m at level 9 (Total newbie) and am using mainly Conjuring, Destruction, and One-Handed Weaponry. I just walked into Shearpoint and spent an entire hour trying to take down that dragon, and it was the best hour of repeatedly failing at something in my life. When I finally killed the dragon, I walked to the wall to retrieve the Dragon Shout ability, only for this ghostly motherfucker to jump out of his coffin and throw fireballs at me and *Jesus Christ he’s harder than the damn dragon. *He’s throwing fireballs, making my summons turn against me (FUUUU-), killing my girlfriend, and generally wrecking my shit.
Any hints on taking him down? I thought at first that I was supposed to be some sort of elemental weaknesses thing (Since he’s covered in an icy mist), but that’s definitely not the case. The most I’ve done is about half of his life, and that was by knocking him off a cliff and sliding down after him while bashing him with my sword (SO MUCH FUN).
