Fought and killed a backwards flying dragon as he stopped to do a dance mid-air. The dragon then proceeded to turn into a skeleton and fly away.

Started watching some videos of post patch stuff… lol @ dragons just doing absolutely nothing. I think I’m just going to put down the game, mod the hell out of Fallout : New Vegas (picked it up on Steam with all the DLC for 75% off) and play that for a few hundred hours.
I was going to post about a random dragon skeleton that fell out of nowhere on Whiterun, but this beats it.
I had a dragon skeleton that would not stop following me.
Walked along like a normal dragon, just…a skeleton. And not attacking. And really fucking annoying.
Just finished the Thieves Guild, I have to say Oblivions was better. I like the way Skyrim did it as it actually felt more like guild and not just a group of people who happened to stumble into each other and decide they were bored enough to hang out on occasion. However getting the Gray Fox Cowl was 10000000000000000000000000000000000x better then what you get for Skyrim.
And yeah the patch is ass, I had little to no problems before the patch. Now I have massive slowdown for no reason and enemies going retarded or just not taking damage for no particular reason.
got my Daedric Armor and 100 Smithing skill… and I’ve only gotten up to like the fifth main quest. lol. still working on buying the Solitude house so I can get the housecarl as a follower and the cool house. tired of Lydia complaining every single time I relegate her to pack mule duty lol.
how are you guys raising money, btw? I’ve been smithing Iron Daggers and enchanting them with any petty/lesser/common soul gems I come across + Damage Stamina.
Dark Souls is pretty cool, i would rate it higher than Skyrim since i think it is more polished, despite the fucked scaling and horrible online. But the recent patch seems to have addressed many of those issues.
Im not updating with the new patch, very few bugs I’ve come across so far aren’t too gamebreaking. I can’t rename my enchanted items is the biggest one and it only happened once but it quick reloaded (F9) instead of saved when i pressed F5.
I’m in the middle of the hangover quest right now and the city you wake up in as amazing. I need some damn companions though. I scared away lydia after the transformation and she took my stuff.
i’ve only come across random crashes while i am alt tabbing otherwise i’ve not seen anything you guys have.
At this point i just REALLY want the CK so i can go to town heheh.
I always keep my Xbox offline but does that version also have a patch or is this a PC exclusive patch?

Hey, for real, Fallout 3 is better that Skyrim. I’ll say it. Anybody agree? All I am doing is stuck trying not be a vampire while everyone in the damn world tries to kill me.
I liked how there are no giant freakin’ spiders in Fallout 3. Giant scorpions and mutated crab things were surprisingly okay in my book, but I can’t handle giant freakin’ spiders!

FO3 is better than Skyrim in that you could target body parts although VATS made the game too easy. I think there’s more to do in Skyrim but New Vegas has them both beat when it comes to writing. Just the dialogue you go through when meeting Caesar and his characterization in NV alone beats any NPCs I’ve met in Skyrim. TES has a lot of lore which you’ll find from reading the books but FO series has the Fallout Bible as well.
I think we can all guess Fallout 4 is going to be Skyrim with guns on next gen consoles but I’m hoping Bethesda and Obsidian collaborate on it. Beth to create the world to explore and Obs to work on the story and characters. Plus with those two together they might set a new record for buggiest game ever released.

I like both but I definitely had a lot more fun with Fallout 3 because of VATS, the quests, followers (Fawkes/Charon > all) and the weapon variety. S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system also lets you play the game without having to do any grinding whatsoever if you wanna min-max but that’s what separates a Fallout game from a TES game I guess.
