So its random? Kinda risky but sounds good. Exactly how much lower do they go?
could be 1 level, the longer you are in jail the more they drop.
Also, I fucing love this HP touchpad ($149 32GB model) . Only thing I’ve done the past few days is post on SRK while playing skyrim.
stupid dragons flying right over me, and going away. I’ve fought a few named ones so far and those are harder than the Elder Dragons, but still too easy. Stuff isn’t enchanted yet either.
dammit… I think my character “CHOJIN” may have been turned (*some villagers were saying "…you don’t look so good…" earlier), but I accidentally cured him by activating some stone in a religious area! Heh, it was funny that I stole a few things from a religious place like that… eh, I’ll run across more vampires and wolves sooner or later.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a world this big in a game before.
If you want to turn into a vampire again, go to falkreath and talk to the ex jarl in the inn. One of the quests leads to a vampire den. Should get you infected again.
Poor mages need some buffs.

Does leveling up magic actually increase damage or is it only increased with the perks?
Here is a couple more screen shots. This game really is gorgeous.

the mods listed are really really good. The no more blocky noses is VERY noticable.
Let’s say my wife somehow becomes brutally decapitated in her own home through the actions of some wild characters that IS NOT ME.
Can I Re-Marry?
^ Werewolf sex can result in death, who knew.
I am growing bored of my 2H warrior… I think I want to reroll a dual-wielding resto/destro sneaking dark elf.
what are people doing for money, finally settled on a dw warrior ( with maybe some necromancy etc…not sure just yet) and my pickpocketing skill is very low…hearing bout ppl make absurd amounts tho?
[spoiler= gone feral]
So I did the whole werewolf thing, got attacked and ‘accidentally’ murdered some folk in whiterun…self defence! anyway…tried to go back, instant bounty and every other town is out for me…can I get cured or avoid this in the future? towns folk dont seem to like us werewolves…with all the Twilight hype who knew?
I’ve played Obl, FO3 and NV and this game is too much. I’m being overwhelmed by everything, the quests, the exploration, the dungeons, the lore.
EVERYTHING
Guys, I might have to go play Dragon Age 2 or FFXIII for a bit to balance this out.
Smithing + Enchanting + Soul trap. You find a bunch of soul gems fill them up as you go by having soul trap on weapon or spell. Then you use smithing to craft iron daggers. Enchant the iron daggers with said soul gems (you’re gonna need to disenchant an item with an effect on its weapon to be able to enchant) and sell them. You should use items that improve vendor prices while selling these things. I am at about 200k total gold earned, spent 140k of it. Gonna buy me a few houses later on lol.
Cool, I’ll definitely try that. Cheers! Not to sure what u mean by using items that improve vendor prices but Im sure once I try it, Ill figure it out.
There’s a few items that you obtain in the game that give 10%, 20%, etc better prices on item vendors.
Damn shame that the solitude house doesn’t have anything to smith in it, the space is certainly there in a few rooms.
>mfw bookshelves
>mfw mannequins
>mfw weapon plaques
fucking awesome.
Do the enemies scale in level like in Oblivion? How is the combat overall? I will probably get Skyrim later down the road (I have general issues with open-world games where I get overwhelmed and stop playing), but I would like to know if the combat is better.
Enemies don’t really scale, but you will only begin to face certain enemies at certain levels. Some enemies will be there no matter your level though (high level bosses or low level dragons on their roost for example). Combat isn’t a whole lot different from Oblivion except for one pretty big thing which is the dual wielding system. Overall there is a lot more versatility despite the fewer skills, you can basically build however you want. (but I’m finding khajiit unarmed with a shield and heavy armour is pretty broken haha)
I have never played Elder Scrolls games with the idea of being a certain spec. You kinda start somewhere, then specialize in everything. I usually do thief quests first, cuz they give the best rewards, and the thief skills are hella useful (lock picking, silent footsteps, carry 100lbs more, backstab, etc etc etc)
Torn on getting this on either PC (want those mods) or the PS3…
There’s level scaling but it’s more like Fallout 3’s level scaling than Oblivion’s.
Too bad I will probably just beat the game once and put it down until the GOTY edition is released. Need all the mods when they’re mature. Hopefully they have improved animations and combat by then. I swear if I could make the combat here more like Dark Souls … I’d pay with my left nut.
