How do I turn ore into ingots?
You need to find the big blaster furnace. The blacksmith girl in riverwood has one on the back a bit past the forge.
booting up my PS3 copy for the first time. HYPEEE
Great. Thank you.
I think I figured out why I couldn’t set favorites or hotkeys. It’s a problem with keys not working after they’ve been remapped to something else. I had to reset my controls to default but now I can finally favorite/unfavorite spells and weapons. This is a pretty big bug since I find the default controls bothersome to play with (lol first world problems). It’s manageable but I’d like to optimize them to be a little better.
Bethesda FIX THIS!
Holy shit @ Krosis, heard the other 2 dudes are just as bad.
Also, can’t wait for timescale mod. Time passes by way too fucking fast in these games.
Here is a couple screen shots. The game is pretty damn…pretty.

holy shit this game has A LOT of quests. currently level 18 and I have like 30 quests total included completed stuff and every town you go to has a handful… there’s lots of towns too.
You can change that using the console command “set timescale to xx”. 30 is the default, so 15 would be half that, and so on.
Most of the command consoles from Oblivion are in here, so you can tamper with the if you so please.
Just started playing last night. Did not go far. Got the first shout. Amazing time so far. Very little bugs other than dudes who have invisible cups. I have a nice relaxing setup as well. Using my laptop (pretty good for gaming) and have it hooked up via HDMI to my TV. Then have a xbox wireless adapter so I can use my 360 controller. So basically I am using it like 360, but all the benefits of my PC.
The only issue is the text size. It is kind of small.
Yeah, I was thinking about doing that but from what I recall there were problems if you did this as it would case the NPC schedules to go off track and mess up in Oblivion but I will read into it to see if it’s safe to do in skyrim.
anyone else notice that Ralof is the same voice as the main bad guy from Resident Evil 4?
I found that guy, a dragon led me to him, don’t know anything about “other 2” but I couldn’t even get close to beating him, he didn’t hit all that hard but I would be there for 30 minutes with 200 potions to kill him. The worst part is you have to print after him if you want to hit with physically and hitting with magic other than channels is a pain as well. Interesting someone mentioned, I just happened upon him recently, so many things to discover in this game.
lol @ this quest, finished it and I have no idea what the fuck happened or what I just did.
How’s the combat in this game? I disliked Oblivion’s combat cause it felt very “light” so to speak (felt as though I was slapping my enemy with my sword, who later died from embarrassment).
I’m hoping hits are much heavier and that blocking and such is awesome, like either Mount and Blade or Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.
This game is so good. Only glitch I’ve encountered so far on the PS3 version is a mammoth falling from the sky.
yeah that just happened to me too actually! PC version
About to go buy this. Unghhhhyeaaahhh.
Still don’t know what race/character type I wanna play first though. : o
I think that was the devs delivering shit, dragon class style
