I think that’s what Rockstar does. GTA5 will probably release in the spring/summer and will sell 20 million units because there are no other games out during that period. All the other publishers like to hold onto their big titles until the holiday season.
Sigh… Games get released during Q4 because people with jobs and families buy all their games at christmas, the money of millions of mothers who dont give a shit about Link is more attractive than a few ‘hardcore gamers’.The fact that you don’t have the money to buy these games is why they don’t cater to you.
The majority of games sold at retail are sold through Walmart, not Gamestop. The money of the tens of thousands of scrubs who will play with gems against their clueless buddies is more attractive than the few thousand people in the world total who play at serious tournaments, etc etc. It’s a joke. Even if every single member in the SRK/ fighting game community rallied behind KOF13 and bought a copy, it would still be a massive flop. We are simply not that important right now, while the vast majority of games are being bought for children by their parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.
ps: Games bought during Q4 can’t be pirated either so chew on that the next time you google up pirate bay and wonder why Devs seem to be actively working against you. They probably are, Mom’s with christmas money don’t torrent. Mom’s buying birthday presents (October is literally the most popular month for birthdays) don’t either.

Whats the best way to buy this game? I’m thinking on Steam because they’re the only people who have the digital download for it right now, but I want it from Amazon so I can get 20 dollars off(thanks gears3), I don’t really like buying games on steam because they kinda put limitations on you imo. I want this shit at midnight, so should I run to Walmart and get it or just download it via steam?

Ok just played a little of it. REALLY hate how much consolized it is. You cant click on anything in the menus with your mouse. You gotta use your arrow keys and press Enter and shit. UGHHHHHH its very minor but its so annoying. Like an itch that is in a place you cant reach on your back.

Lazy developers… They can put an entire world into a game, but god forbid they allow you to use your mouse for anything else but moving your character around.
UI overhaul that lets you use your mouse is gonna be one of the first mods for this game from the sound of it.
My copy was shipped through Purolator and hopefully arrives tomorrow and isn’t delayed until next week because of Remembrance Day.
I dont give a fuck about mouse and keyboard, I’ll be using my 360 controller to play this game.

I’m used to playing both console and PC Oblivion so I could go either way. I’m so excited, I can’t sleep seriously. Once I get out of class tmrw, its Skyrim time.
Will this be worth buying on the PS3? That’s really the only viable option I have since I need to upgrade my PC but I wasn’t sure if the graphics were a lot worse on console or if the controls weren’t as good. Help?
