Well found the problem with the controller after opening it up: the rubber thing on the dpad got damaged (the left input) so I guess we just gotta buy another one of these rubber things

And that should have happened on the previous season.
They built everything within the story to finally make him win, they built his relationship with that frog pokemon, introduced an actual love interest, and other shit that pointed out that this was it, it was finally the time we will see him win at pokemon and life.
But no, they decided to throw all the character developement and shoehorn his stupid ass on the sun moon series, perpetuating his benjamin button status.
The only good thing about him finally winning is that perhaps the next series will finally have a new and better mc.
I do play GG on stick, yeah. And I’ve been blissfully unaware of any sort of DP shortcuts in that game, too.
We’re having an Xrd sidetour in two weeks though, I need to learn how to play that game on hitbox by then. <.<

I always considered it a shortcut since it makes the input way easier, especially when holding 6 during a combo/string to get a dp or a hcb by pressing 236 or 214

Not a shortcut, DP shortcut for SF still requires three inputs most of the time. That’s more akin to an input buffer I guess? I do it too.
Crouching shortcut is the best way to do it to keep your hurtbox lowered, 323+P. Practically a necessity on Sagat.

Sorry for the delayed response. You were getting better as the set went on, and most of my notes were being resolved towards the end of the set (throw more, less random arrow, etc…).
You were also right to note my general frustration with Cammy’s sMK, as Kolin doesn’t have a great answer for it. I caught it a few times, which makes me look like a genius… buts that’s a big gamble on my part.
My only note that you weren’t actively resolving by the end of the set is, learn some oki timings, and don’t use so much cLP>cLP for pressure. That little chain is basically non threatening especially when it’s not canceled.

Speaking of FGC translated, I finally managed to stomach Fujimura’s hot takes in this vid and watched it entirely.
The second half being a quick rerun of BBCF’s Evo 2017 GFs was a great surprise tho. That set was hype af.
Still, calling Gauntlet Hades a strong overhead like that…
