Unfortunately, I had to play on 4 different LCDs, with my defective stick, and in some matches I had to use a Hori Tekken (cause the tournament was on both platforms, PS3 and X360).
I could not connect ANY combo after the chicken wing, probably I was too emotioned, or probably I didn’t adapt fast enough to the equipment, so I had to play footsies all day (or at least try).

Deleted by mistake a very close match with a Ryu, where I lost 3-2 (could not tech the throws because of LP failing, LOL)
I ended up 3rd, btw, with a nice little prize 
Not bad for a 24 people “official” tournament!
First off I only seen the first video against Cammy. Your U2 will counter her U1. Who every the player was just threw it out there and you could have just used yours and punish there unsafe ultra. 2nd when Cammy does a cannon drill, and you block it, instead of a cr.lp to rekka you can cl.hp to rekka or cl.hp to hk.fk for more damage.
Update 1: Ok I just seen the second video. This Cammy player is beyond free. This player just mashed out dp’s and unsafe drills and ultra’s.
Update 2: You played so unsafe agaisnt this Akuma. You looked like I do when I am filled with rage. You attacked at every moment and you didnt try to bait out any dp’s. For example when you AA and while he was landing you went for cr.hp all the time and got hit with a dp. After 2 times getting with with this, you should have thrown a cr.lp. It would not have reached so far out and his dp would whiff leaving him open. You also used cw way to much to cover ground. Dash a little more or use lp>rekka x2. Had you played a little more under control the Akuma would have been free as well.
Remember footsies doesnt only consist of throwing pokes that connect but also mixing up pokes to bait moves and bad read for punishes. I know you have the skill from the few games we have played but remember this “Attack with emotional contant, not anger”
not to take anything away from your win against cammy there, but he did some really stupid shit in those matches.
I know he was free man, but I got him twice in my roster

Sure Fei is tourney viable…it just required sooo much more skill…1 frame link too heavy imo…I mean even though Mago has been hitting all the combos and links…you can tell he’s not owning everyone like he did back in vanilla when he’s using Sagat…
I haven’t heard much of Inthul recently…he didn’t do that well at EVO this year I think…
Starnab and Evan are still owning in Europe though I think…

I was so happy that starnab came to SBR. Sadly he didn’t make it to the top 32. My hype went away until Mike Ross came back on.
Starnab won the Guard Crush 10 tournament with Fei and I think he landed the HP link once.
Also no one can really destroy people in this version of SSF4 with any character any more. If Mago went back to Sagat he would be doing a lot worse than he is now. Fei is the right choice.
Yep, as a 2 frame link instead of a one framer, it is sooo much easier to land it. Just practice it online to figure out the timing with the slight lag.

I’m eager to see Mago take on the US champs. Let’s see if this Fei-hype has any merit against America. I hope the US players are prepared for the Fei match-up so they don’t just play it off as a loss to an “alien character.” But I don’t see enough US Fei players willing to share secrets/practice up. Inthul is on DMG, so of course he won’t be discussing strategies with EG members. J Wong is the most knowledgeable here, but he’s not very advanced in his play overall; anything he does with Fei he could probably do with Ryu, Bison, etc.
