So i was thinking about picking up some of the IDW stuff. Where should I start?

Get the Spotlight TPB series as well since some issues take place during and before the first 3 series.
Only just found out that IDW is doing Cybertron comics. I assume they’re being written by Furman and are a direct continuation of his Dreamwave Energon comics?
I checked IDW’s TF catalog and they don’t have TF: Cybertron listed there.

A little research shows it’s a series that was exclusive to the Hasbro fan club.

All Hail Megatron #11 is awesome.
The interaction between Megatron and Starscream was the best thing in it.
Saw the movie with a few friends. Should have just bought the megatron origins trade, or saved for a pending all hail Megatron trade.
one friend started to nod in the middle (admittedly being up since 6:00am moving but) a few times on a seemingly key plot but in actuality missed nothing. Said the ending in his dream was better and had as Gundam. Made me lol.

-for a pg13 it must have the limit on 80s throw away curse words and toilet humor wedged between drawn out yet zoomed in action and snippets of plot drowned out by sound effects and LinkinPark. note: i like LP music and TF effects…
-apparently the fallen was in this 2hr+ hasbro commercial

I did not like it, but would still recommend it to a TF fan, and think i am outside the scope of its’ target demographic. I would blame bay but the masses will actually like it the first time around and may strongly change there mind should there become a second viewing.
I look forward to wasting my money on the trilogy.
The Cliffjumper issue was good IMO, funny how he’s the deadly Bumble Bee XD

I liked the idea that he’s an Autobot assassin who gets in, does the job and gets out, but the idea of Cliffjumper taking on half a dozen Decepticons head on and winning at the end ruined it for me.
Much preferred Spotlight: Wheelie.
It’s no different if it were Sixshot that did the same thing.
The thing about this TF series is that some individuals are far more powerful than one would expect.
Sixshot has always been depicted as being very powerful though. It’s very different when it’s a character who has never been shown to be that way.
Even so it doesn’t bother me much, it at least GIVES them a persona all their own.
New ongoing series came out today (I think? We don’t get new issues until Thursdays).
I know the spoilers and two huge events happen.
Looking forward to reading this series.
Roche’s Wreckers comic will be much better.
