That’s not new is it? Majorboy was doing it with qcf.lk in season 1 and i found timing the j.mk as late as possible allowed the cross up dash. Or is it that you can use regular dash now thats new?

In the corner off of the new mk link ibuki can combo lp kunai into hk dp now there is a video somewhere on shines twitter
I saw in the corner you could link two s.mks also
How?
ch st.MK,st.MK should work, also you don’t really need to be in the corner for the dp to work, you can do st.MK, st.MP xx LP Kunai, HK Kazegiri and it will work
That kunai link dp works outside of corner as well. Also with the lp-mk air tc reset, as long as there is a bit of a delay between both hits you just mash dash you will always cross up, if you try to dash when you hit the ground it feels like a natural enough delay for you to not cross up and it looks very hard to tell the difference
Can someone post this shine video with the new link? Im curious…
Might have been counter hit in the corner. Ill have to check the replay
Nevermind, just got to do it myself.
S.mk, s.mp, kunai L, Dp H.
Slightly less damage on everything though
Oh I though you meant you could link two and still get st.mp punch. You can link two st.mk with counter or you hit it during its later active frames.
Ah cool
Three more notes before I go back to my non existent forum use now that my thirst for S2 changes are satiated. The thirst was real.
There was a stealth buff on her kunai reload probably because of the way it recovers or it might just be placebo (really don’t remember them doing this tho). As long as the kunai hits the air a.k.a the sparkle point. Even if Ibuki get’s hit she keeps all of them. I really don’t remember them being like that at all.
St.mk has that annoying SF5 priority problem when normals connect within the same active frames creating obnoxious pushback, making st.mp miss entirely. As a former Ken main this same shit happens to his cr.mp tc1 string.
The last might just be theory but both Ken and Ibuki feel faster moving forward to me which makes me believe either i’m trippin or some notes weren’t logged.
Anyway the thirst and dreams for S2 was fun.
i think i found some shit.
by the time you realize what happened you are already dead. now that you can link cr.mp you can follow up with ex kunai into rekt
this is fucked up lol

add:
in gif bomb doesnt actually combo, so it doesnt really stun without second bomb.
first part does 535 stun.
second part does 460 with kunai release. LITERALLY 5 POINTS OFF STUN.
seems impossible to do more. guess have to use 2nd bomb anyway for stun. mad damage anyway
Well it’s character dependent. 1,000 stun characters won’t get stunned, but there’s a good portion of the cast that only has 950 stun. Akuma and Cammy only have 900 stun so they’ll definitely get stunned before the second bomb.
I think one of the season 1 characters got knocked down from 1,000 to 950 stun but can’t remember which now.
EDIT: Ok I found out. You’ll be able to get the stun on Chun Li cuz her stun got nerfed from 1,000 to 950. So she’s now 950 950.
It won’t work on Bison/Dic because his stun got raised from 950 to 1,000.
ye i am still mad its 995/1000 though lmao.
it looks practical enough. people expect bomb mixups, but usually not so fast. some might think its left/right bullshit so they may block the wrong way by default.
already got a kill online

That was documented.
- Sped up the timing that Kunai is refilled
It’s a welcome change, since all Kunai reloads are still very punishable, but at least now the risk always reaps a reward. It’s similar to how Jam’s cards work now, which is a step in the right direction.
I think my favorite change so far is just being able to hit j.MP after EX kunai from any distance. Ibuki’s reset ability after EX Kunai was drastically worse if she connected the EX Kunai from a distance that was not point blank, this change allows her to get similar meaty setups to what I preferred to use at close distance but from any range. I enjoy any change which improves her consistency.
Interestingly, I sometimes used hk cmd dash into j.mp after the regular bomb combo for a potential reset. Probably needs some more testing to make it work, since I was coming down, it was +.
Side note, here is a video I recorded for bedtimebuddy for this particular set up.
Description is written on the video. I cant seem to copy and paste it from my phone.
