Dunno really, not sure how Street Fighter shows the commands. Just that you should be pressing (mp)~(lp)
If you’re trying to plink M with L, you should see two M’s, not two L’s.
I got a quick question, in the new AE target combo 10 (cr.HK, s.HK), can you cancel the last s.HK hit into a command dash? thanks in advance!
Yes you can SJC cd just like the cr.HK xx st…HK in TC6 and TC8.
Her new target combo feels a bit slower to me than her other launcher combo, could be just me.
If they’re focusing and you hit them with the new target combo, it will not launch them and you can land a far standing jab -> Knee -> whatever after that. You can also SJC U2 lol.
I’ll have to try SJC into her LK Swipe kick to see if you can loop anyone, that might be interesting.
I’m assuming by loop you mean like a pressure string and not a combo right?? lol
I’m pretty sure he means combo, as in:
cr.HK xx st.HK xx SJC lk.Tsumuji , far.st.LP , st.MK xx Special
It would be nice but it’s a launcher:oops:
Didn’t he just say it won’t launch if they’re FA-ing?
Not trying to be rude or anything. Just asking because I haven’t played AE, yet.
oops read it too fast, lol.
The cr.HK actually sends the opponent into a juggle state, if the doesn’t hit, the st.HK will act like a High Jump cancellable far st.HK.
If cr.HK doesn’t hit, how are you getting the st.HK to come out? I thought it was a target combo?
Yeah it won’t launch if they’re focus attacking (no sweep) so I meant it as a SJC.
… Isn’t it like HP HP? I don’t think the second hit needs the first one, which is why I kept messing me up by accident. And yeah, if the first hit is focused the second one will hit in isolation. Kinda like Guile’s dual sweep.
In order to get the second hk the first must hit even if it’s on block or from fa or hit confirm or w/e.The second hit could whiff sometimes if they are at max range cr hk.Also it’s -7 on block,if she sjc into special is she safe?
You can High Jump to make it safe, or LK Tsumuji. Honestly though the best idea is to meterless fadc backdash, since it’s not a very good move anyway.
Ok, so I’ve been working on my Ibuki and I noticed I’ve been losing to people who pretty much use the same strategy throughout the whole match. I don’t know how to deal with them because most of the other players play fair and accurate.
Ken = Spam shoryuken on wakeup, jump tatsumaki, mash light kicks
E. Honda = Repeats headbutt, when I get close, thousand hand slap combo
Ryu = Pretty much same as Ken but turtle and shoryuken punish when I’m forced to make a move
Help?
If you’re constantly losing to wake up reversals and basic stuff like that, it’s not your Ibuki that needs leveling up. It’s your basic knowledge of the game and your ability to read and adapt to the person you’re playing.
The only advice that anyone can give you would be to play more and learn how to pick up on things like this.
You don’t always have to be aggressor and attack at every chance you think you might get. Sometimes it’s best to let the opponent kill themselves.
Spam shoryuken on wakeup: learn to bait/punish.
Jump tatsu: learn to antiair and/or punish landing.
Mash light kicks: learn to frame trap and/or whiff punish.
Repeats headbutt: pick U2 for free ultra punish, otherwise learn to play midrange footsies with cr.MP, f+HK, and bait/punish headbutts with neutral jump.
Thousand hand slap combo: stay the hell out of range of this thing.
Ryu (aka basic zoning game): learn to play midrange footsies, learn to play without jumping at your opponent
Btw, this is online we’re talking here. Nobody is going to play “fair and accurate”, (nor is that going to happen offline lol). At higher levels, I’d expect my opponent to abuse lag as much as possible.
Ho?w do i perform Ibuki’s kunai cross-up? every time i do it and the kunai hits, my next attack is blocked when on the other side. do i have to SJC t use kunai cross- up
