Can someone give me a nice block string that keeps me pretty safe. I know cr.LP cr.LP c.mk I just want something else to use and maybe a bit longer to keep pressure then go for grabs.
My brother has been telling me that he can predict where I end up when I do the Target Combo Launcher to command dash mix up. He just eye balls it and can figure out where I’m going to end up. Am I doing something wrong here or should I just end the combo with neck breaker?
Question is… is it true ?
If you continue to mix-up does he really block/break you ?
If not, you’re just being mind tricked/trashtalked (probably my favorite part of the versus fighting with friends )
How is Jump Flip (:dp: :p:) effectively used?
quick question and i apologise if it has been answered else where. i was playing around with ibukis target combo (st.lp > st.mp>cr.rh>cr.rh) and noticed that a couple of times i managed to cancel the last hit into her dash move which then crossed the opponent up. ive been having real problems trying to get it down when i need it and wanted to ask just how strict the timing is on it.
i practiced it on training with inputs turned on and and was getting the motions right but no dash move was coming out. does anybody else have problems with this particular cancel?

ahh brilliant got it i didnt realise i was actually cancelling the super jump instead of the final kick. tried it and got it on my 2nd attempt after reading that ha ha. time to practice more i think
Any tips on Guile/Vega? I find that Vega seems like a tough matchup for Ibuki because his pokes are soo long and there’s not much u can do inbetween them but continue to block. As for Guile, he’s just a bitch, I hate him :wgrin:
Edit: Blanka as well. Scrub Blankas can beat me which is saddening.
What in particular is beating you in those matchups?
For blanka, you can pretty much walk him into the corner for free. Every single horizontal ball can be punished easily. So if he’s sitting on charge, just walk forwards. He can only slide or rainbow roll towards you, both of which are easily defendable.
Hmm, I never thought about just walking up to him to force him to act. Against Blankas I usually go back playing more “defensively.” I’m sure it’s just me though, I’ve always had a bad time with Blanka even in Vanilla.
Well, blanka can give you other problems once he has knocked you down, with his jump angle. But yeah, you can play patient, but that doesn’t mean you can’t do that walking forward!
