Ibuki Player Guide (book)

What should I say…

WOW!!! Thank you for this awesome guide. I’m currently training to participate to one of my first Street Fighter tournaments and now that I have that in my hands I feel more confident on what I should learn and how should I apply that.

I can’t thank you enough, best guide ever. Now I have interesting activities to do in the metro while going to work

^&^ Thank you for your thank you.

OMG I just D/L this book the other day and I love it, fantastic job!!
Really excited to get my skills up, ive plateaued lately in skill & PP(2000-2500), ive never got higher than 2700 or so PP, cant wait to give this book a good shakedown and try and get it to 3000PP, although may b a lil tougher as our figher base in Australia isnt as large as it is in most other countries(looks over to JP & USA), but I cant wait, Thank You!!

Is there another guide you could recommend to learn about other stuff I should have years ago like the whole option select thing, kara(throw?), plinking, etc.
Last time I played SF was back in the 90s playing Alpha 2 in arcades, after that it was strictly KOF for me until SSF4. So yeah kinda behind and have been pretty much playing an old school, raw style in SSF4.

[EDIT] Also in the guide how it teaches kara-throw, can u be in the cr. position when u kara-throw or does it have to be st.?

WOW, I got alot of homework :razzy:
Thanks again MingoDynasty!

Haha KellyNUTS you’re pro D: I can’t even get more than 1600 pp -_-

Hey Izuna, are you gonna add a section for advanced stuff like MoTempest?

Well, the book actually includes that combo, but as an anti-air instead. After stun it’s better to do j.HP into st.HK if you want to do the same mix-up. b+MP after crumple is just flashy.

Since I’ve had a lot less time to play I just try to do those combos every match now, and I always for for Tsumuji-Loops ect. People seem to think I’m better but I’m far less consistent now that I use gimmicky/random stuff. I still prefer the Ibuki player who plays using more solid strategies, and this book encourages that.

You mean j.HP , st.MP , cl.st.HK (get dat damage)

oh btw, I won’t be making Revision 3. The reason why I was on these boards is kinda gone now. If anyone wants to take over send me an email then I will give you the files.

Anyone in the UK want my TE? I’ll sell it for like £50, PM me.

That is unfortunate. I guess that means you’re quitting fighting games?

Probably, don’t know what will be up next year when I go University, but something very weird happened all of a sudden. It was fun playing with you though Mingo.

sh… well WA’s not happy to hear

aie. well good luck to you. thanks for the guide

:frowning: Good luck Izuna and hope you aren’t gone for good :’(

Hi. I am uploading his video, he is away. he will be back tuesday

Hi Izuna

Awesome vid, I was wondering what the spaces where after kazegiri xx super since I kept missing a bunch.

So how exactly is that neckbreaker walk forward j.LK setup a safe jump?

I’d like to know as well. Isn’t there any whiffed tool for timing it? like cr.MP or something?

Hey Guys I will be talking for Izuna since he’s not able to get on shoryuken.com right now.

Reply:Tell Mingo “the annotations don’t show up on my phone by my friend said there were there, maybe double-check? It should say it is a safe-jump against characters with a 4-frame-or-more DP”

To RedCaliburn

Hope this helped!!!
