I’m trying to recreate this as we speak and you’re right about the delay, it’s like the last possible frame that it will register the HK in the target combo is when you need it to hit.

Didn’t see this combo posted anywhere. df+mk(max range) st. lp, st. mkxx whatevers. This works don’t ask me for a video cuz i don’t have that capability. From my experience this works on everyone except for dee jay
Wouldn’t work with Dud’s and Akuma for me but I got it to work with T.Hawk. I wouldn’t necessarily say you want to slide at max range but, like, a HAIR inside of max range. Extremely spacing dependent, but no doubt, awesome.
Yeah I was testing it out on him and I couldn’t get it to hit. I’ll be doing an extensive test on the loop combos in the next few days to see what works on who though.
Usually for those that I couldn’t get the loop with, I just did lp-mp-hp chain, link far st. lp, st. mk xx ender though.
Quick couple questions. What’s with the preoccupation of the S.LK > M.LK TC into U2? Normally, by the time you hit that TC youll be on 4 hits b4 entering ultra and get next to no damage. Personally, my preferred way of hitting this ultra is simply to cancel it straight from a C.LK / C.LP after the opp’ makes a minor mistake (they give you a few frames, you hit jab into ultra)… and if you need the confirm, you can just hit jab twice and then fo it… Why is everyone using this long-ass way of hitting it? Am i missing something?
Also, U1… was just wondering whether anyone thinks its worth intentionally hitting with the FB part of the ultra for 274 dmg. Personally, I can see a few times when that 274 off a move that would otherwise be safe could really help. Say Makoto does Hayate and you block. Fairly certin hes normally safe here, but if you do U1 you get the 274 dmg… worthwhile?

dont think its been posted before. You can cancel FA into ultra 1 to make the process quicker by holding MP + MK, F,D/F,D,D/B,B/F - release - F,D/F,D,D/B,B release MP + MK, PPP… hoping itll be possible to punish footsies to ultra using this. YESH!

and if i’m reading this correctly, you guys are just shortcut buffering the ultra motion into the fadc right?
like there’s no advantage to doing this over just doing the motion during the forward dash if you can already do that? (outside of it being easier to do for some people i mean)
OK!!! I have updated the first page with every worthwhile meterless combo I can think of! No jump-ins, yet. No focus combos just cuz you might as well just do the most damaging combo you can execute or a focus specific juggle/reset/neckbreaker. I am not sure how the scaling from her air target combos will affect her long ass combos. annd… i have not been practicing ultra, so… that’ll have to wait until i can do it or someone can give me numbers lol. and ex combos will be coming soon… it doesn’t seem like she really needs to use it much tho, except for ex kicks and combo vid flashiness.
Can we actually combo this ? S.lp->S.mp -> cr.HK.HK ( TC ) -> SJ -> MK or HP ?
Someone did it on me once during a gameplay and it connects but I am unsure if I wasn’t holding down my block ?
I tried that during training mode on the CPU with AUTO block. It works with the first TC but it doesnt connect after SJ ( CPU Blocks either my HP or MK ) ?
