Ibuki Combos and Glitches

whats the best way to pull of a sjc to ultra2 with xbox pad

:mk:~:d::df::r: (buffered in the Kick) :d::df::r::uf: :k:x3 if you see it connect

Dunno how much use it will be in comparison to her other options, but it’s possible to link her sweep from a jab for an untechable knockdown.

First time playing her and couldn’t remember how to do the target combos, but I found that out and it was my go to for knockdown.

yup, you can combo into a sweep off a cr. jab and st. jab

wow wow wow did u guys now f.mk goes OVER FIREBALLS AND HITS RYU IF UR CLOSE wow its a strong move

But doesn’t F.mk cause Ibuki to move as if shes taken a dip in molasses?

ha yea but its great with right spacing when shes int he air alot of moves miss plus gets alot of low jabbers

Here are some combo’s I’ve been messing around with and from what other people have been posting.

Midscreen:
LP, MP, HP far LP, c.MP, Neckbreaker
LP, MP, HP far LP, c.MP, EX/Tsumuji
LP, MP, HP far LP, c.RH
j.Fierce/j.LP,->+FP/j.LK,->+MK, c.Fierce, jump cancel, MP/HP Kunai (LP in the corner), LP, MP, HP, Neckbreaker
s.MP, s.MP, ->+LK, EX Tsumuji
->MK, s.LK, s.MK, EX/Tsumuji/Neckbreaker/Raida
->MK, s.LK, s.MK, SJC Ultra
->MK, s.LP, s.MP, s.HP, Neckbreaker
->MK, s.LP, s.MP, s.HP SJC Ultra
Corner:
LP, MP, HP, far LP, c.MP, EX Tsumuji, EX/Raida
s.MP, s.MP, ->+LK, EX Tsumuji, EX/Raida
->MK, s.LK, s.MK, EX/Tsumuji, Raida

I was watching Nerd Josh play on the stream and I think I’ve got figured out what Ibuki’s best go to BnB is. ** It’s c.LP, c.LP, s.LP, s.MK, HP kubi ori** (neck breaker). This is the best combo to do because it gives u a lot of time to hit confirm and since u are doing s.LP into s.MK u get the most frame advantage possible. s.LP is PLUS 8 on hit and s.MK takes 6 frames to come out so u get a nice easy 2 frame link after the s.LP instead of trying to just frame after the c.LP which is only plus 6 on hit.

But standing :lp: will miss a lot on crouching opponents. You will have to delay the st. :lp: after the cr. :lp: in order to get it to work. I suggest this combo:

cr. :lp:, cr. :lp:, st. :lk: xx st. :mk: xx neck breaker

However, you have to make sure you’re not doing the st. :lk: too early. Because if you do do (haha, doo doo) it too early, you will be chaining the :lk: and not linking it. And when you chain it, you cannot get that st. :mk: in.

Well, both the st. :lp: and :lk: have to be delayed to correctly get the combo, so I guess either one is fine as long as you get it consistent.

Hmmm…so far s.LP still whiffs on some characters? Guess i’ll have to run it in training mode. Yeah I’ve tried the LK, MK one and yeah it’s easy to mess up if u do the chain too early. Though that could definitely be one of the best ones as well. As a matter of fact I think it’s the same one Flash was telling me about.

Ah, I just edited my post, read it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, I do suggest the st. :lk: over :lp: because it seems to be more consistent against crouching opponents. I also can sjc into U2 easier after that :lk: :mk: target combo. Scaled like crazy in this combo, but damage is damage.

I think st.mk is a better option than c.mp?

A lot easier to execute and I don’t think range is an issue.

^ I didn’t think about that.

S.MK is a lot easier to link.

df mk can be combod from the right distance into s lp cr hp

So are these combos verified or not?

If you are going to be the owner of this thread you should update often, not just post once with unconfirmed theory fighter combos and then never post again.

cr lp cr lp far s lp df mk(slide) is also a combo that works,dont know why you would use but hey :slight_smile:

c.lp > s.lp > s.mk > ultra 2

30 hits : 383 damage 180 stun

s.mp > s.lp > s.mk > ultra 2

30 hits: 433 damage 230 stun

Both hitconfirmable.

Well since this is combo related I guess I’ll ask here. On trial 23 why does Raida always miss after her dp + k? I’ve tried many diffrent timings but can’t find that sweet spot, anyone make this easier for me?

Use the RH Kazekiri and FADC it on the first hit. I think only the first hit allows for a follow up with raida.
