Yea its a little crazy I love being able to know when my ironman gets a hit it will kill most of the cast! and I can’t wait to see what you came up with, I saw the thor combo on morrigan thing you put up and that was pretty sick
That 1st Thor combo looked familiar mr Flubbs xD you could add one extra charged Strike L after of the softy soft knockdown of the M.Tornado, or even one charged j.strike M for chaining another Tornado with smash L (plus another soft knockdown lol). Good stuff
Yea I knew I could but I felt like it already has done enough to kill any character in the game so I felt like it would have been overkill, but I know what you mean, I will go over it in one of my other vids, hopefully in a tutorial series I have been wanting to do for awhile now on thor’s combos like his relaunches.
So its not really a ‘reset’ as such, but I’ve been getting down the ‘stalking flare on incoming, bring thor in to grab the moment they exit blockstun’ set up down a lot better these days.
You have to really pay attention to how many hits the stalking flare has left, but honestly against characters with limited aerial options its really nice.
Alright, just some stuff I found while using Thor on point, Dormammu 2nd(Purification), and Skrull anchor(Stone Smite).
After an obligatory j. MMHS, if timed correctly and you land near the corner, you can call Dormammu’s Purification assist, and Thor
can start charging Mighty Strike H, with no OTG other than Purification required.
It works quite well; using those two assists, I was able to get a little over 1 million with one hyper meter used.
Here’s what I did to get that damage:
(The Purification only lands if the air series ends up in the corner!)
J.:s:, St.:h:, St.:s:,J.:h::s:, land, Dormammu assist, ch. Mighty Strike :h:, ch. Mighty Strike :l: , ch. Mighty Strike ,
Mighty Smash , Skrull assist, ch. Mighty Strike :h:, air Mighty Spark :h:, Mighty Tornado.
Didn’t really pay attention to exact damage output because I was testing this at Next Level, it DEFINITELY broke a million though.
EDIT: Chef, it’s definitely a good setup, it works well for Skrull too. It’s basically a tick throw.
Ok this maybe old, but i just did this combo in training with Thor/Dorm/Doom
c. :l:, c. :h:, :s: + :a2:(Dooms Missiles), j.:h::s:, Mighty Spark:m:, Mighty Smash , :s:, j.:h:, Mighty Spark :l:, Mighty Tornado DHC into Stalking Flare.
Does 1013 k Damage.
I know you can add more damage to that if you do Dorms power of the destruction x 3 during the stalking flare hits, then teleport H + S (during the last few hits of stalking flare), then liberation once you land, and Dorms QCF hyper. I think that can should be enough to even TOD Thor.
Any suggestions on this combo?
EDIT: Ok so I added in Teleport :h:, QCB :s:, (then waited till the last hits of Stalking Flare), then hit S(while in the ait), land , Purification xx Dorms QCF super.
Does about 1,227, 700. Uses 3 bars, but is useful, i guess, to TOD anyone except Thor.
Im sure if I added the move I used to initiate the combo (like j. l) or whatever, it could TOD Thor.

Ive been trying that since you posted it. Just having a lot of trouble with the relaunch after the FC mighty smash H. Will post damage once I get it.
If you’re having trouble landing the FC Smash, delay the MMHS. If you’re having trouble landing the Launch, do it earlier than you’d think possible.
yeh its the Launch that is bothering me.
ok i got the launch. But are the hidden missles supposed to lock the character into place on the missles way up? or does the character land and the missles OTG?
EDIT: nvm its probably cos im doing the combo in the corner. Ill try it midscreen.
Yeah, if you’re too close to the corner on the relaunch, Doom’s missiles hit on the way up, messing up your combo. At that point though you can use Purification to set up the SSS, but the timing is…well, not pleasant.
I’ve been trying for an hour using this POS Madcatz Fightpad and 50 minutes of that hour was wasted because the diagonals register like fucking shit on this pad. Fuck Madcatz, im going to try and get my money back.
Anyways, I got fed up and switched to my stick and I tried the combo. I am having a problem with the missles hitting the opponent too late for an OTG. Should I be delaying the j. MMS? Ill try that and see.
Oh and also…FUCK MADCATZ.
Just delay it a bit. It should work then.
If you’re still having problems, I’ll just get on and test the damage myself.
If you can do the combo with ease, and it is of no trouble to you, I would love if you tested the damage.

Alright, got it, does around a million. However, I never noticed it before but the combo is impossible outside of certain spacings. Corner, you know why, but I never noticed the travel time of Missiles would take longer midscreen so…my bad on that one.
The one I usually do with Doom Missiles is a variation of the Spark Relaunch combo.
c.:l:, c.:h:, s.:s:, j., j.:h: xx :l: Spark, ADD j.:h:, s.:s: + :a2:, j., j., j.:h:, j.:s:, [wavedash, FC Strike, Spark xx Tornado DHC Stalking Flare] (midscreen) or [SSS xx Tornado DHC Stalking Flare] (corner).
Both do close to a million and would do a million if I actually followed up the Stalking Flare with anything.
Also, random note, nice to know it’s actually possible to do SSS midscreen. Always was convinced it was corner only. I think it’s possible to do the SSS midscreen in my combo, but the Wavedashing was giving me a headache, so I went with the safer route.
In almost all situations, a hit from Thor with Dorm in the back should be doing 900K minimum, short of confirming a combo off of Missiles to begin with (consider finding a reset opportunity or just TACing at that point…still can do 800K+ with the DHC though). You can pretty much do whatever combo strikes your fancy with this team.

Yeh i tried experimenting with other options to replace Dorm, but there really isn’t any character that allows for DHC options that well.
Looks like its Thor/Dorm/Doom for me. XD

I started using Thor she hulk doom and found a 1.1 for two meters and both assists. It’s similar to what saitsu posted
Cr.l,h,s j.mmhs, full charge smash, st.s +doom, j.mms, up strike, over strike, down forward strike xx super (air super low to the ground) dp+m call she hulk, h spark xx super.
There are lots of ways to use less or more meter in this combo I can figure damage for variations later, but gyeah one touch kill on90% of the cast!
FMRoss, do you like she-hulk? how well does she gel on that team.
She seems really hard to be with the run cancel stuff.
