SFIV was made with the intentions of getting bitchmade scrubs like you and casuals into fighting games. You just fucking suck though. Everyone takes this game too seriously:
A lot of people do, but honestly that is the way to improve. If you are very casual about sf you are not really going to evolve much…certainly not quickly. The best way to resolve this maybe is play someone on your level who are clearly playing the way you want to play(casual, practice,combo training, matchup training…etc.) -
I also hate the fact that Capcom wants us to pay 4 dollars a pop for a costume pack.: I agree this is sucky, but to play the devil’s advocate we don’t need the costumes to play the game to its full potential. I’m more angry about blazblue DL characters. From Capcom’s perspective this is a great way to keep people engaged and keep residual profit coming in (even from used games).

Makoto is TOO hard to use: Heck yeah…but why is this a quitable offense. Leave her for the people who like the challenge of using her.

Blanka is the easiest character in the game to use, all you have to do against people like T. Hawk is sit back and do ball rolls on him and he cant do shit to punish it: Wow…hell no. His rolls are easy to counter. Against people who know the matchup, using blanka is an uphill battle. Hit up training mode and figure this shit out. As a Blanka user, this type of attitude is a pet peeve.

E Honda is overpowered: Yeah maybe a little, but still very beatable. again, a matchup thing. Spend extra time figuring him out. I didn’t throw vanilla out the window bc Sagat was OP. The result was a lot of shitty sagat players and a matchup that was common enough for me to get comfortable with.

El Fuerte’s Ultra 2 is broken.: Yup, but he has a lot of disadvantages also. If you see Ultra2 flashing don’t put yourself in a postion to be hit by it. How many freaking fuertes do you play anyway??

Rufus Ultra 2 is very cheap: whatever dude. Saying every move in the game is cheap is not winning you brownie points with anyone and you are doing yourself a disservice in the end. Basically you are rationalizing losing to these moves because you do not want to spend adaquate effort to learn how to avoid/counter them.
Im just sick of this shit… no matter how many days and hours i put in (and ive put in over 860 hours in this game ALONE) ill NEVER be good enough to win at a tournament. EVER :
Statistically,this is probably correct. What percent of players actually win tournaments? The truth is you are just defeating yourself with this mentality. Should I never go bowling because I’ll never win a tournament? If you are really saying is that you really want to win a tournament then you need to: #1 take the game seriously & learn, #2 stop complaining about every character/move in the game, #3 Don’t give up.
The Hell. You’re playing T.Hawk. I play T.Hawk. Same shit happens to me. I always seem to get knocked out of tournaments by some Akuma or Cody locking me down with projectiles. Sucks, but be freakin’ patient. I can’t even tell you how many times my dumb ass has lost because I’m impatient as Hell. Seriously, though.
If you don’t like what you’re complaining about, pick a new character, or waste some of that time complaining learning frame advantage and match up specifics.
And that Blanka matchup? You know how they’re making that AE? That’s to balance out further stuff that sucks. Just be patient.
Also, if you’re defeating yourself from playing Makoto, then why the HELL are you playing T.Hawk?

Saying Mi has no scene is bullshit too, you’re just not a part of it because you make posts like this. If you chill out, play the game, and come to tournaments nobody will have a problem with you. I’ve worked hard to keep tournaments happening regularly in Mi, so don’t say something like that lol, it’s your own fault for being a jerk to people that DO come to tournaments and support the scene.
