I love my custom...controller?!

That Saturn pad work is incredible and awesome. I was thinking of trying much the same with a Super Pad 8, so those pictures are very inspiring to me.

I hope you don’t mind if I ask you questions about it, because I guarantee I’ll have some.

my best effort.

^ nice colours

I’d die for the purple one…

This is definitely not mine, but I read about it yesterday. It’s pretty awesome, I think
Here’s the link to it.

Well I finally finished my Saturn pad hack to my own satisfaction so here it is. (I was using CAT5 cable for a while and it was a mess to look at.)

Since no one is showing the inside of theirs, I hope I’m not ruining some big secret.

I removed the IC and soldiered a NeoGeo extension cable in its place. Worked out great, the individual wires are the perfect size to solider on the PCB and the overall cable size is perfect for running through the strain relief. The NeoGeo cable plugs right into the project boxes I already had made for my joysticks. The only downfall is that the cable length is a little short, but its no a big deal.

This controller makes Castle Crashers so much more fun!!!

I’m confused on what you did there…Castle Crashers?

I love to make a custom dreamcast with that blue sparkly paint.

I have a project box with a hacked 360 controller (amoung others) in it, that I normally use with my joystick. Now that I have modded the saturn controller, it plugs into that box as well. I can now play Castle Crashers without that shitty 360 D-pad.

There are some other examples of this a few posts up^

WOW. That’s the greatest Ikaruga themed anything I’ve ever freaking seen!
