I am pretty sure that that controller is just another version of the one he posted at the beginning of the topic. Its a change of controller shells and he put PS1 joystick numbs on the PS2 controller.

About the only thing I have done to my controller was replacing the electronics. MY original PS1 digital pad (whihc I had been using since SF Alpha 1) started losing corners and the L and R triggers (they’d work on and off). I took a brand new PS1 pad and swapped the guts out and the rubber pieces. I kept the original dpad and buttons. Afterwards, it was like old times:grin: The old shell felt so soft and broken in that I didnt want to just swap the dpad to the new controller:lol:
u used to just take all the parts out of a ps1 pad and stick them in a ps2 case… anybody ever notice how ps1 pads felt better than ps2… lol
ive been wondering this is the street fighter pad for ps2 good for anything? like can i take the shell and mod it with saturn buttons and dpad? that would be a great controller if i could…
You’d be better off keeping the saturn pad and getting it to work with ps2.

that would be nice ! to play some sonic on, and i guess the dpad is better than the vc one

Tamiya modelling paint :wgrin: You can actually see it in the photos
For the logo, I first painted the area black (or white), masked it with tape cut to shape (@_@ doing that), then painted the whole piece white (or black)
This Saturn pad was hacked to work via DB15 cable so that I can use it for whatever system easily. Parts from grey and black Saturn pads were used.

could have save yourself some money if you did it yourself instead of buying it from me. but man, nice find on the db 15 cable. I can’t find one that’s small enough to fit the controller hole unless it’s vga.

Ha! The one I bought from you is pictured below. Its not the multicolored one I just posted but it helped make it happen. It was worth it all worth it because after opening it up I was able to do the new one. I changed up the project box so it now contains a wirele4ss xbox 360 common ground pcb.

man, had I known that, I would have kept the pcbs. I was planning on getting rid of it because I didn’t think I was going to play anymore but a friend drag me back in (especially for ggpo) so I could use those pcbs.

Nope… the saturn dpad and buttons do not fit in the sfac pad…( I tried lol )
