I don’t play Gouki but I noticed it right away, it was crazy. It’s like the equivalent of Hugo’s Tachi Gigas.
I too have seen this before in the past on videos I am pretty sure have seen M Barreck, SrWilson, Fabien, Hsien and Arma^ do this before in the past and they are Non Japanese. I am not sure if this is relativly new at all. Jiro is solid to watch though and has now perhaps introduced the trick to a new era of players who are seeing it now for the first time!!!.
Oh, shit! Ive just watched that video of Jiro doing that and then i came here at SRK to talk to u about that, but Naz…U’re too fast%) So, how its been done??? Anything in that “walking”?
I’ll give you a hint it involves doing nothing during walking - now figure it ;).
I personally have my own particular way of being able to do it constantly but thats more to do with my hand styles while playing.
I thought M Barreck was the best with akuma i seen almost every step up 3-4 years ago (way before i seen match)…then met SrWilson showed me alot more RD’s (some thought wer not possible).
:crybaby: i hate RD traps! (love it really )
I can’t do it consistently yet  I might give Sanwa buttons a try, see if they’re easier to tap super fast :xeye:
I would have figured it out earlier if I had just KNOWN that it could be done easily enough to pull off in a match. Thanks to Jiro and cureOne
Man! Can u give me a hint?:))) I can’t stop thinking of it for the whole day!!!
Here’s how I do it, but maybe this is just me:
Toward + strong, jab, jab, toward, short, fierce
Huzzah, I’ve broken the code! The way to cancel toward + strong into Raging Demon is by doing toward + strong, and then Raging Demon!
Next up is how to do standing 720: spin the stick really fast.
hmm, walking Demon? I wonder if there is some sort of move storage, how long can you delay the last HP before you lose the rest of the inputs from the buffer??
yup dun dat! (use a HRAP) :wgrin:
Here’s my hint - I hold forward (direction) and at no point do I return the stick to neutral. And Mr Q is right, the whole demon input goes in after the overhead.
It really is just a matter of maintaining accuracy at that stupid speed. You wouldn’t believe how many of you do actually have the speed to do this - you just have to keep it accurate.
Well before you go all out on being able to do this, see if you can get the demon out fast enough - do the demon input and make sure it comes out while your first jab is still sticking out.
Why are you talking like your the only person who can do it? Theres clearly several players who have been known to do this trick.
I apologise if I have understood wrong but you just sound like your implying other people cannot do it besides you.
Where you say “Before you all go out saying you can do this” “Then try it”.
It just sounds like in your tone you do not belive other people have done it before outside Japan.
Apology accepted since you have understood wrong
Now let me ask you - if this is such old news, why was it never mentioned before in these threads? And please dont say it was unless you give a link to the thread.
I’ve gone through all these boards and learnt/contributed as much as I could. If any single member had said that they knew the trick to walking kara demon, I would have nagged them till either they died or they taught me. I learnt the cr.lk - kara demon trick from these boards, and that thread was hot at the time for that information. Any mention of the walking kara would have blown away everything else. It would have been like ‘why you scrubs bothering with hiding jabs in the lk when you dont need to hide them at all’ - and EVERYONE would have wanted to know what he was on about. lk kara demon is shit in comparison.
Fortunately, I finally saw a vid of it being done in a match and figured it for myself. So I apologise to everyone who has tried keeping it a secret :arazz:
Just_D_it - check your pm
I must admit that whats I thought for the few minutes after posting this thread, I mean can’t you see what I named the thread I’m just SOOOO disappointed that people knew about it and its only just coming out now.
I personally have been able to this for about a year now. I could have sworn you guys were talking about the KD before.(?) If you just learned this now what was everyone talking about before?
Excuse me if I’m missing something or I seem insulting.

PS. That’s not the TRUE KaraDemon. (WTF?!)
Actually reading the thread FTW.
I’d have guessed you’d use th F + MP ahead of everything else. Looks simple enough but damn, you’d have to be hella’ fast to get that out there. Can you negative edge the jab?
I’m gonna try this on pad
How do you position your fingers on the buttons to do this? Is it middle finger on strong, index on jab, thumb on short, and ring on fierce?
!
I’ve actually seen this before a while ago in some other Japanese match vid, and I think it was also done by the same Akuma, Jiro (colour was similar, I think).
I thought at first my eyes were playing tricks on me, thinking he probably whiffed a low jab or something or hid it during a move that I overlooked, but apparently I was wrong.
It’s done after the f+mp overhead.
I’ve tried to find a shortcut/easy way of doing this, like negative edging the lp or pressing the f+mp and lp almost simultaneously (for some reason, if you press f+mp and lp at the same time, and if the f+mp comes out, the lp input is not recognized or something, so you can’t f+mp + lp, lp, forward, lk, hp), but to no avail.
You have to press each buttons individually.
And the best method for this is drumming the buttons f+mp to lp, then immediately pressing (hardest part) lp, forward, lk, hp in quick precision/succession.
Command: f+mp ~ lp, lp, forward, lk, hp
For those aboot to give up, here’s a step by step dummy guide to doing it:
- drum f+mp (middle finger) to lp (index finger)
- immediately (and I mean immediately) press lp (index finger)
- then forward (left hand)
- then lk (thumb)
- and hp (ring finger)
Pressing the lp again immediately after the drumming is what makes this hard and it’s usually the reason why you either do the kara-demon or you don’t.
If you can train your fingers to go into super lightning crazy fast mode, it won’t be too bad.
And I’m able to do this on a crappy, used, beat up Hori SCII stick.
C’mon, prove HarmoNaz wrong that he’s not the only non-Japanese to pull this off.
Btw, even if you miss this during a match, big deal, the overhead comes out instead so you’re still good to go.
Then what is the true Kara-Demon?
With this, you can do it anywhere and anytime if you’re quick enough.
Oh shit, good luck with that.
I don’t think it’s even possible unless you got some kind of mutated hands with six fingers and each finger has a finger on its finger that can be individually controlled.
But never say never.
OI OI OI I was already proven wrong
Why everyone trying to reset KKZ me for :crybaby: By the way, thats not how I do it - thats too hard for me. I pulled it off twice in matches today, and missed it twice. But for some reason, in training myself to get the accuracy at that speed, I’ve noticed a new technique that I just might be able to mess around with - red parrying. The speed in which you have to seperate the neutral from the forward in the ‘true’ kara demon command is probably less than 1 frame, but you get 2 frames to put in a red parry.
Think about it. And dont worry - I’ve already seen the TOSF parry video
Looks like tons of people know that, but just…NOT DUCKING TELL IT to us!!! Ahh!
HeavenlyStriker maybe u even know how to link KKZ after lp reset? Like JRodriguez did! Huh? Tell us!:))
just do the KKZ really really really fast after the lp reset that is all there is to it.
Just try and make sure you press the first down immediatly after hitting the lp.
