I hate what they did with MK 2011.
Can you imagine if Spiral Swords started out behind Vergil and you had to spend a bar to make it the belt, instead of the other way around?
I think the bigger issue is they are too safe and this game does a shit job of clarifying player positions when you get a super jump screen cam.
Dorm and Dantes teleport need like 5 frames added to recovery. they get away with way too much shit by throwing it out and having instant options. I will say Vergil has a bit of BS with teleports off helm breaker…because qcb+:m: and just timed have different properties when swords are on. Super Skrull can also get some major BS too with beam assists. But them having the teleport is fair, it’s more a matter of tweeking them and a better system for showing positioning of characters (cuz that super jump indicator is ass)
Teleports are fine, they just need some balance. I hate Zero’s dashes more than i hate the teleports in this game.
Teleports are like some of the must punishable things in the game if you’re not mashing. :S
It’s also really easy to block the assist (or hey - just jump over it!) during teleport + assist if you’re not mashing.
Teleports lead to ToD’s, but if you stopped mashing you could punish it and ToD them back.
Moral of the story - stop mashing and punish the dang teleport.
You mention the two easiest teleport to react to Dorm and Dante.
Vergil on the other hand is BS because his normal nullify projectile meaning your point and assist scooped while he can teleport and recovers on the air or ground

There’s so many things wrong with those games that picking just one problem and analysing it is like saying that the color brown is the only thing bad about living with feces up to your neck in a cesspool

Teleporting is annoying, but I wouldn’t say it ruins the game or that I have no respect for the players that can pull it off well. Teleporting is still easily punished and not something I think can just be picked up after a few hours of gameplay.
S-Kill in Divekick (the character) is amazing though. Plus he does that dumb crosshand thing.
Not only that but the block button negates teleports being crossups so it is just like any regular move , Back to block games is a different story though .

You need to quit bitching about teleports. If people are able to run away from you as they please with a single special move and nothing else, the problem isnt the teleport. It’s that you’re being a scrub who would rather complain about it than learn what to do against it. I only had issues with them in my beginning days of fighters. In the case of Vergil, his teleport isnt a problem. It’s the simple fact that Vergil is retarded all around the board.
