Please explain this. How do you get more reps in the grav loop? Rapid button presses?

Apparently, ROM still works midscreen but only the :m: addf :h: variation

If the source is from Remix, he didn’t say if it was midscreen or not. I’m still skeptical =/

then again I’m incompetent and don’t know how to do this combo anyways.

So… anyone noticed that his s.:h: doesn’t cause an untechable knockdown anymore?? I’m guessing that this means even though his Hyper Grav loop is still in, its going to be impossible to combo into it without an OTG assist. Someone (PLEASE) correct me if I’m wrong.

Official changelog:

Magneto

  • Aerial forward tri-dash speed decreased slightly.
  • H. no longer causes untechable knockdown.
  • Total frames for L. and M. Electromagnetic Disruptor have been increased.
  • Reduced opponent block stun from Electromagnetic Disruptor.
  • Added new moves “Fatal Attraction,” “Repulsion,” and “Reverse Polarity.”
  • Removed invincibility from Magnetic Tempest.
  • Number of hits in Magnetic Tempest (ground and air ver.) can be increased through rapid button presses.
  • Number of hits in Gravity Squeeze can be increased through rapid button presses.

You can still combo into it. Untechable knockdown removal doesn’t change much.

so is disruptah the same speed as it is in vanilla? if so does that mean none of the zoning specials got faster like they said it did?

Disruptors L and M are slower I believe.

it looks like his damage got a buff maybe? Max is pulling 500k with some simple combos in umvc3 with magnus.
469k with the first combo
525k before gravity squeeze.

Tested all of them because someone on a Portuguese forum said the same thing.

The damage on all the combos is exactly the same in Vanilla and Ultimate.

Oh man, I just hope my stupid:

c.l, c.m , c.h, s, s.j, l , l ,m , m , h, add up forward, l, m, m, h, flight, l, h, add forward, m, h, add forward, m, h, addforward, m, m, h, s, works.

That’s my braindead “get some confidence” warming up combo. With that I’m nothing.

I can do the gravity loop but the stupid and easy, jump, m, h, dash, jump, m, h, dash, jump, m, h, kills my hands.

I don’t think you can reliably convert a L after a jH xx Fly anymore.

Btw, Fatal Attraction seems to be toned down in Max’s version of the game. In PAX, it made the opponent travel about 4/10ths the screen. Now it doesn’t seem to do nearly as much.

Gravity Squeeze confirmed to be mashable.

flight loop with M and H is actually much easier if you dash with the stick. If you’re doing just H, then dashing with 2 buttons is recommended.
