This works in the current edition and is damn near my corner combo (sesame street :s: :h: addf :h:, land, :h: :qcb::l: sj. adf :h: :s:, land, :h: :s: :h: addf :h: :qcb::l: continue hypergrav loop as normal)
You can actually get 3 reps of :s: :h: addf :h: :h: :qcb::l: but the timing is VERY strict and character specific.

Haha yeah that was me playing. I can’t believe someone was recording and it got put on youtube lol! Was playing a bit absent minded since I was talking to a dude behind me and the guy I was up against was kind of ass and talking a lot of shit at the same time so I didn’t pay attention. We got really lucky they gave us sticks because usually we get screwed over by capcom here in europe and we pads instead. I played mags 2 or 3 times after that and the most reps I could get out of HG loop was 5 reps so its not completely dead. Metergain is hella low compared to vanilla though and the airdash nerf is going to take a lot of getting used to
I think tatsu nerf isn’t bad at all and its gonna still be as great as it was in vanilla, I noticed almost no difference considering I confirmed off it with a slide.

Bunch of my friends went to NYCC.
They reported seeing a guy doing shit -> :s: sj. :h: fly, :l: :h: adf :h: unfly, falling :h:, land, Gravitation, :s: into more shit, also said it carried corner to corner and he could continue the hypergrav loop in the corner.
oh shit. so the new moves can be used in combos as I suspected. sick.

launcher into jH addf jH land cHS jH adf jH S works fullscreen and although it looks boring as fuck it still does like 430kish damage which is comparable to a standard fullscreen fly combo.
They were pretty sure it was the new Gravitation move, but at first one of them said hypergrav at first (not the Magneto player though). Either way, Magneto has a self relaunch midscreen combo that carries corner to corner.
Interesting thing, they also mentioned that Magneto’s ground :h: has more hitstun than in vanilla.

is the full screen fly, plink dash still as good?
Interesting to note that only his diagonal airdashes got slower? In MVC3 already there were some chars that you had to trijump straight down L in order to hit crouching. I wonder if it will become necessary to start using sj trijump L instead of regular jump, or at least beneficial, they were both too fast to block in vanilla already.

So it’s not 2 hits anymore? I thought that was a little interesting. I guess it doesn’t matter so much because the only big advantage for such few hits in Vanilla was an anti Dark Phoenix strategy. With Dark Phoenix nerf, it’s not that big of a deal.
its a way to get more reps in the hyper grav loop as well…rogueyoshi got me hip …in vanilla it adds atleast 5 to 6 more reps…this should be viable in the next game
