That’s exactly what I thought. If the move is stoppable by wave dashing then all it’s said and done, no need to nerf it.

Some characters can’t wavedash if I recall correctly. I’m fine with it costing a bit of meter or whatever as long as Storm gets the same treatment since the same complaints made by Justin about Magneto can be made for Storm. Just to convince me that the development team isn’t riding JWong’s balls.

Storm’s push and pulls are also a shit ton more stronger. Her pull will pull in like 3 times as far as magneto’s

Storm kind of deserves some broken shit though, I’ll admit. On paper she’s amazing. In practice, I’m not gonna bother practicing an advanced combo that only does 350k.

This is true, but they could just buff her damage? lol

Storm’s combos do around 600k and with the Magneto nerfs to his combos, he’s in the same damage range not counting his lvl 3

I meant meterless/assist-less damage, which I’m pretty sure Storm isn’t capable of hitting 600k, or even 500k for that matter. She gets a buff in the form of air X-factor but she generally isn’t gonna be getting XF3 so what she’s going to be capable of in Ultimate isn’t so much different at all that what Storm can already do with a standard Hailstorm DHC into Hyper Sentinel Force as an assist killer.

I really want to punch the living shit out of people when they say this. Seriously, I just want to shove the MvC3 disc down their eye sockets.

In X-Men #87, Magneto actually goes toe-to-toe physically against Wolverine, Gambit, and Rogue. So yeah he actually can fight physically, with purple energy auras and all that jazz as well. Which makes these people even more ignorant than they already are.

maybe mags new combo(s) will involve tk’ing gravity pulls from S. thats the only tech that i can conceivably see being viable if his old combos don’t work anymore.
i’m wondering if he can magnetic pull opponents who are in hard knockdown. if so, that’ll give him some better midscreen shockwave combos. and if he has lvl3, he can tack that on as well or just instead.
S is mags most damaging ‘normal’, so loading a combo with as many as those as possible then pulling them back in after flying screen for a full shockwave (or just regular gravity squeeze) could deal more damage than his current combos. gravity pulls/pushes will probably set up some funky reset opportunities as well. although, if j.C pushes back alot further now, i really have no idea what he’ll do after a midscreen TAC other than basic shit. that’s no bueno.

That’s not a Hyper Grav loop that’s just the standard corner combo.

Better yet…I’ve tried it several times on all the cast and it doesn’t work seeing how the hyper grav techs the character out it in the current edition of the game. If you can provide a vid of you proving me wrong then I will be gladly take my words back

You can get like 10 reps out of the current hyper grav loop. You can only do two reps of that standard combo, then HSD kicks in. (yes, this can be done in the current edition of the game, but no more than 2 reps) The damage and meter build between the two are completely different.

From the stream, did you see them do 3 reps of what you mentioned?

The stream showed 2 reps of it into S jH adf jH S. The point of HG loops is to extend your combos and this particular combo can’t be used after…well any combo really due to HSD. Standard HG loop still works up to 3x so far, might be more.
