Ever had a shitty week and needed a good laugh?
This was my laugh.
Ever had a shitty week and needed a good laugh?
This was my laugh.
This made my day. I can’t believe the shit is still open though, we need a SK disciple.
uh probably because if you watch naruto you are pretty much definitely a neckbeardin fatty
Watching garbage is bad for your health.
Bulimic!
I have a keen eye for shitposting
OP: from reading all your posts, i think what you’re doing is using this thread as a vehicle to convince yourself the reason you suck at fighting games is because of outside influences that are, in your eyes, so undoubtebly out of your control; therefore making failure a component of unfortunate circumstances rather than your own inability to succeed.
psychologically, your outer locus of control is really fucking pathetic and even mildly embarrassing in some of your posts.
why dont you quit crying, sit down with a game, get a job to fund your hobbies, practice, and invest time and genuine effort into what you supposably enjoy doing and wish to succeed at.
sure some people catch onto things quicker and easier than others, but if these sorry excuses for “hardships” are truly, in your eyes, blockades to growth as a gamer/competitor/whatever, then I hate to be the one to tell you (because it should be someone close to you like your parents or a friend) but you sound like a woman on her period with sand in her vagina…
i hate crybabies
yes, I dont see much competition in southern CA. no one comes to the arcade I come to cuz the stupid manager doesn’t bother to get the machines fixed. Thats why!
and according to you, what SHOULD I be watching? lame and boring reality shows? hell no! i hate those.
people keep thinking i havent done anything to find a job eh? even if I keep trying, i probably wont find one until im 80 and by then I wouldnt give a shit anymore cuz I lost interest in it. Not to mention i would probably end my life before I turn into a prune.
if you practiced your BnB combos as much as your BnB crybaby tactics you’d be somebody!
or maybe not
shower and shave before those job interviews too :looney:
I’ve done that already and still nothing. so what then? try, try try try try try until im 100 years old and i dont give a shit anymore? Im sure patience has its limits. I am at mine already.
i dunno then…
turn off Naruto?
OMFG, WHAT DA HELL DOES NARUTO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS? stop bringing that shit up! damn
Time to call it a day. Give up. It’s going nowhere. Maybe you’re forever doomed to never reach the level you want to be at. Oh well. At least you have your Naruto when it’s all said and done.
Well at least you could do something worthwhile instead of complaining about it to complete strangers on the internet. :looney:
I’m not sure what you’re getting at here. I think you just want to vent. Anyways, to keep in mind…
There are many ways to play a game. Some people enjoy playing the hell out of it and breaking everything down and doing speed runs that break world records. Some people just do whatever and never beat the game. They’re all okay.
You don’t have to be the best in the world at a game.
However, you have to make that decision for yourself. Go read John Choi’s blog. In nor cal, they don’t even have a SF4 machine. That doesn’t stop him from competing. His dad has cancer, he has family responsibilities. He admits that he can’t find competition and that he doesn’t know many of the matchups. Whatever, he works it out.
Thing is, if you want to be good at the game, you have to go beyond casual. You have to actively practice, seek competition, and challenge yourself to get better.
There’s nothing wrong with saying it’s too much. After all, street fighter the video game won’t put food on the table.
However, there’s no point in griping about being uncompetitive or having difficulties if you haven’t put in the work or if you chose not to do so. If you want a title or a championship you have to chase it yourself, it doesn’t come to you. You chose, so don’t gripe.
Lastly, I hear this crap about a job all the time. You know what? Finding a job IS a full time job. You spending 8+ hours a day finding a job? You actively networking with everyone you know? And I don’t mean some weaksauce crap where you’re just ask your friends for a job, it’s as involved as the dating game. You putting out at least 10-20 resumes a day and following up? ANd by following up I mean you show up to their doorstep if you have to and make them say no to your face. If you ain’t on the phone all the time you ain’t trying hard enough. And if your resume is too weak to get a job, you better be fixing that while you’re looking.
I don’t know how many times giving out computer repair interviews I run into people that tell me, “No, I don’t have an A+ certification, but I"M skilled at computer repair.” Well, fix that shit and you might get hired. If you’re that skilled you’ll pass no problem. “Oh, but it requires me to study and the test is $300.”
<shakes head>
give the naruto stuff a rest. IT IS IRRELEVANT!
I’ve done all the work required for finding a job, put in more than the hours you’re talking about and sent 50 to 100 resumes a day and still nothing. So tell me how Im NOT getting hired even after all that. I feel like i wasted my time for nothing.
wtf does naruto have ANYTHING to do with this? I’ll watch whatever the hell I feel like watching, and between naruto and mvc2, those 2 are completely irrelevant. As for smash bros, I only play it once or twice. I dont even put much effort into that game cuz I dont really care much about it. As far as going to find these arcades your talking about that are 1 or 2 hours away, who’s gonna pay for the gas?casper? I dont have a job or the gas money to play all the time. And yes, I do look for jobs 10 hours a day and make a lot of calls so don’t even bother talking about that. I dont mind trying to find competition, but fact of the matter is that because the manager at my local arcade doesn’t do shit to fix the machines, no one wants to got there anymore. I went to Arcade Infinity today and i have to say that the japanese cabinets have messed up buttons, thats no good. Why the hell do they have to have the buttons all in an angle and shit. Is it so hard to keep buttons in a straight line? hell, even other people who were playing against me had problems doing certain things. Ridiculous, at least the mvc2 machines at my local arcade have better buttons and they are aligned straight like they always should be. It throws people off!
and ill say this again,
NARUTO HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME BEING ABLE TO PLAY! stop bringing that shit up about how I need to stop watching that. and besides, what do you care what I watch? It doesn’t affect you or anyone else so dont bother bitching about it.
