This chick makes Akuma look like an Adamantium Punching Bag, she’s so fragile. And that G4 vid, did my eyes decieve me or does she literally start with level 5 Max Meter because thats fucked up.
I agree she is either gonna be really good or completly trash due to her health. I also don’t see no reason why you can’t KFC (dumb name) into Healing Field but keep in mind that she heals only red health so it won’t do her much good if she has none, I don’t know what people are so worried about. And even if she takes damage with the healing on she loses some red bar with consecutive hits. I think she is balanced enough.
starting with 5 bars would be TOO good. People would be picking her without giving a damn about phoenix OR dark phoenix, they’d just want an extra 4 bars for their other two characters right off the bat.
If she starts with 5 bars on point, that instantly makes her the best character in the game. Luckily, capcom has SOME semblance of sanity, so that’s not going to happen.
I don’t think she really starts off with 5 bars. That would be insane. They probably set that player’s bars to five at the start of the match in that video.
Starting with five is good for her they will not take it out unless they increase her health!

Just look at Phoenix’s reveal trailer, she starts with one bar. It was definitely a special configuration to show off Dark Phoenix.

Things to consider
-Phoenix HAS to start, if she gets 5 bars for starting thats huge… Basically if you want to play as DP your sitting on those 5 bars unless Phoenix kills a member otherwise she’s a instant battery for certain characters and teams.
-If Phoenix is killed as a assist character and the character on point has five bars will she change to DP if so, will she give that knock back that she does on point after her transformation?
-Is it worth risking using healing to keep phoenix in game? The only way I can see this viable is if it recovers past red life.
- Timer on DP, I think I heard seth mention you only have a certain amount of time as DP, does that mean once the timer is up you revert or does it mean you die?
-If you revert do you keep the red, and can you tag out to get the health back

Actually she switches out For Hagger but yeah your right. I forgot that the other vids had her at level 1 or 0 or whatever. The reasin I thought was because most of the builds did’nt have options like that but perhaps that was the pre final build with some options.
She still takes bitch damage though.
