Tbh,Justin didnt let me int grand finals.He picked the phoenix team against me because he beat me with that team in casuals during the weekend and he was losing with his wolverine team against mine.If you remember,he actually won the first game with the phoenix team with her on point.Im pringles and i can’t block so he tried to open me up but i never gave him the opportunity to but after he lost with them he went immediately to the team he’s been using in majors since the game came out.I was just lucky that i knew the match cuz i play nerd josh and he plays pretty much the same team so i know how to get around tron assist and i beat nerd josh in losers bracket with him picking that same team.

Something tells me that regardless of who wins the Road to Evo tournaments, all the crowd favorites will mysteriously be spread out in the brackets anyway. What’s the point of even trying?

If there is so much controversy with every team tournament that you are associated with (first the hamburgler thing, then the gilty thing, and then this), maybe you should consider stop running them…

I’ll leave it as a difference in opinion about TOs playing as well. I think if you are a TO its your job to run the tourney and that is it. Take turns, sure one tourney you miss out, but you can always play in the next. Again, my opinion.
As for my friend speaking up, it was an awkward situation. The guy had his friends going “no he’ll be here he’ll be here” and the guy wasn’t. If you ask me, the TO at that point should have gone “well he’s not so he’s out”. Why should my friend had to have made a stink about the rules being followed. If there wasn’t a TO there, then yes he should have, but when there is a TO present I’m pretty sure its no longer his obligation. That is how I see it anyway. Me personally, I would have made a stink, but that is how I am. If I sign up for a tourney I am there, and I try to help in any small way I can. I also follow the rules as much as possible, because I know how shitty it is to have a tourney held up because someone wants to go bang their lover, smoke a blunt, or whatever.

It is just another way to associate majors with EVO, but you are right, in the end it is almost completely meaningless, while before you actually made it past pools completely.

Gilty was in single not teams my good sir.I didnt run singles at FR,I ran teams and no one complained about teams at FR.The hamburgler thing had nothing to do with the rigging of brackets,get your story together.Wolfkrone and I are actually cool and he knows i said it jokingly and he even teamed with me at power up for ssf4.but of course you know everything so you already knew all that.
Who said anything about rigging brackets? And yeah you’re right it wasn’t at the team tournament at FR but somehow your name always gets associated with all this nonsense when something as simple as organizing a bracket based on region and past results and then executing it based on how it was set up originally should be straightforward.

Idk how my name even got in that whole situation because i was just standing there watching the match then i went to go get shin blanka to correct the situation aka i had nothing to do with anything!ppl wanna look for someone to blame for shit and i guess when im around im the auto scapgoat.i didnt even run anything at power up and ppl blame me for changing and manipulating shit.I only run team tournaments when i have too and there has never been any complaints about my team tournaments being rigged or anything of that nature because at seasons beatings i put my own team on the same side as gamerbee’s team.i run shit as fair as can be and the only complaint ive had about my tournament was the wolfkrone taking a round incident that was agreed upon by both parties.thats what they wanted to do.that had nothing to do with any shady stuff on my part or my tournament running methods.i refuse to run any singles tournaments because i compete in singles and it would look shady if someone running a singles tournament competed in it as well.

ummmmmmmm this is how i run my team tournaments.this WASNT MY TEAM TOURNAMENT.Webster said winners finals is 3/5.Then we lost and go to losers finals and after nerd josh team is up 2-1 they celebrate and im like “huh?how is this 2/3 if winners is 3/5” so i go ask webster and he said losers is 3/5.I guess i was being shady for asking to make sure,right?
