My list which is favorite top 3 since last season is:
- 1st season Spartacus, 2. Batiatus, 3. Gannicus. Hard to break into this top 3.
dudes inside or near the 7ft range get jobbed so hard if they aren’t in a horror movie.
Gannicus thought for himself, and knew Spartacus couldn’t live with the idea of not killing Glabur himself. Perfect undermining strategy.
I also knew The Mountain was destined to die early, such an imposing character only exists as a measuring stuck or impasse of some kind in these stories.

Todays episode is just…mind blown. Fucking awesome.
Pretty awesome episode which saw so much happen that I have to think quite a few more characters are going to die next week. Having Spartcus,Gannicus,Crixus, and Agron fight was cool but would have been infinitely cooler if Andy was there. I hate to say that because it seems like disrespect to Liam who doing better but…ugh I feel that image of all of them standing next to each other was not as awesome to me as it should have been, like something was missing.
Glabur was lost his damn mind a needs to pick if he does or doesn’t give a fuck about his wife, because you can’t go around killing people in her name one second then fuck someone else and leave her to rot the next. I’m guessing he’s hoping she’s dead after his attack failed. And what the hell is up with that Egyptian guy? The way he broke that guys neck looked fake as hell and why didn’t the old man just shoot him in the head? Made no sense…also he could have ran with them, it’s not like they were trapped and he barely slowed anyone down with those arrows. Pointless sacrifice imo.
Ashur is still the best bad guy on this show and it’s not close, he makes Glabur look like a bitch in comparison. Finally I didn’t think they would make Seppia aware of Glabur BS so quickly but I’m glad because that dynamic should be fun to see next week.
Oh and I love that new blonde chick only because she’s crazy as hell, it’s also nice to see Naviea got her groove back and** I hate her less now that she’s not so much a focus of the show lol**

But anyways I’m done laughing in my head too. No big wtf, must-use-spoilers, etc type moments this week unlike the last two weeks with Xena rape and a face-off with Spartacus. But good episode none the less.
Wish Doctore schooled some of these foreign dudes in fighting.

LoL I don’t care but your comment made me think about all the rape Lucretia has been getting put through for a while and it makes me think either Ashur will get a horrible death on this show soon like the finale maybe early next season or he’s gonna end up the next main bad guy of the show and they are just building him up slowly.
I doubt others will agree with this thought just something in my head that popped up when I read that.
Ashur is cool and all, but he will never be the big bad, the big bad is Rome, so if Glaber dies, we might see Verinius take his place or some other roman guy, but Ashur will always be dick riding some guy so he can stay alive and do his thing in the shadows.
History would say Marcus Crassus is the next baddie. He, Pompey, and Julius Caesar formed the first triumvirate btw.

I don’t know what the sword decap version of “Boom Headshot” is, but that death deserved it.
I think they cast marcus crassus and the big big bad [details=Spoiler]Julius ceasar[/details] for next season so Im gonna go out on a limb and assume they are gonna play a role in the proceedings next season.
Sick episode though, I couldn’t help but feel sorry for illithyia, I hope she gets some kind of retribution and peace after all the crap shes been put through this season. Plus the revelation bout her child, while expected, was none the less a cool surprise and should lead to some interesting developments as time goes by. Finally after watching the preview of fridays episode, I can’t help but feel some important characters are gonna die. Hopefully its not anyone I care about, but thats rarely ever the case unfortunately.
If they’re going off of history then all the important gladiators (Aenoumaeus, Crixius, Aragon, Gannicus) all become generals in Spartacus’s army, but who knows Luctica is supposed to be dead and she’s still alive.
Ashur’s death has to be painful, Glaber’s too. It can’t be just a quick decapitation, it has to be slow and agonizing. These guys have gone off the deep end.
At least in season one you could say Ashur was merely doing his duty, now he’s getting drunk off the leftover remnants of power Galbur has.
Yeah I felt Ashur really wasn’t a bad guy and other characters gave him too much shit in the first season. This season seems to me like he just went “fuck it, if every hates me anyway even when I try to do good I might as well be a prick. Fuck everyone that not me or helping me.”
Glabur was always a bitch tho, and I knew from day one he was gonna get a sword shoved up his ass or something…

Finally, the season is nearing its end and I can start watching this shit. Yeah, I just record all of them and wait till the season is over to watch them all. Makes for a good weekend.
I watch and get excited for the wtf moments. Me and my friends would take shots sorta like whenever Jack said “damn it”.
