Me vs a pretty good Sim player that I play all the time
I did end his long win streak, but he beat me the first 6 matches with 5 of them being apart of that streak. We’ve played so much that he knows my style and strategies. I had success in earlier matches with doing tatsu>sweep and keeping him in the cross up/dive kick mix up, but then he just started teleporting all the time and I didn’t adjust with OS tatsu or anything. I need to work on punishing those to make him stop it.

Appreciate it. blocked sweep, blocked LK Axe Kick and blocked overhead will definitely be concerns.
the other normals that were punishable will usually be cancelled into specials, but that blocked fireball punish may be an issue if cancelled too close.
pretty much, and I think cr.mk xx fireball is a true blockstring, unlike the other shotos. I’m currently learning this matchup, so I needed this for myself to when I was recording it.
