Not that it’s new or anything, but I started doing lightning loops after full combos ending with the Doom Missile extender. 1,150,000 with one bar is pretty dumb.

I don’t mind but I don’t think i’ll be able to do it on my recording TV since it’s pretty laggy and the combo is really tight timing. Sigh I wish there was a way to get dazzle to work with HDMI.

Really? For me it wasn’t particularly tight. Are you making sure to cross all the way under them before doing the S? I mean I haven’t gone through it on the whole cast yet, but on average hitbox characters it’s been pretty consistent for me. I’m going through the cast now seeing who this is hard/impossible on.

You’re not playing on a laggy TV. I’m actually doing Dash 5H>S since the crossunder S tends to whiff a lot

Btw the combo doesn’t work on modok so far (the tag misses), but I found an alternative combo for him.

airthrow->5H->6H->M teleport->5SH->(slight delay) round trip->Zero hard tag (whiffs)->dash under 2H->5S->forward sj.HS (land)->M sentsuizan xxbusterxx->L raikousen->assist enders. It seems like you need to use M sentsuizan instead of H for at least one of the assist extensions. This version is really pushing HSD.

The odd thing is that Modok keeps flipping out of the Vergil extension (he flips out WHILE getting hit by rapid slash). You should just ommit Vergil from the assist extension imo.

Edit: after the hard tag, you should dash up cr.H->S instead of just trying to cross under S. It’s been pretty consistent for me in ensuring that the S is done in the correct direction (which makes the combo A LOT easier).

Edit2: delaying the round trip gives you more time after the hard tag to position yourself. It also keeps the opponent higher to ensure that the hard tag hits. This is necessary for some characters (so far I’ve needed it for Ironman, and in general it’s made the combo after the tag less strict).

I am down for a new combo thread. Would save a lot of us the trouble of having to search through pages of posts.

Anyway, I really underestimated jump loop. Since I dropped Vergil and need to learn real combos midscreen I saw just how much damage it does and holy shit. It does more damage than my corner BnB with the buster cancels.

Just letting you guys know I’m making the thread now, am in training mode at the same time to get some damage values in there. Also if anyone wants certain videos in there send me a PM. I wanna just get it out of the gate first then update when I wake up and what not.

Thanks. Still trying to master the jump loop. Landing the second j.:m::m::h: is proving to be a bit tricky for me.

You can just shorten it to JMM>Buster lightning>2H>6H> instead of g oing for a full JMMH rep

That’s pretty much what I did in the vid you quoted, and what I use most of the time without the 6H to avoid hitstun deterioration of assist starters

Alright, so I went trough a sizable portion of the cast with this and it seems to work on almost everybody.

So far it didn’t work on Modok (revised combo for him in previous post) and Tron (haven’t found anything consistent on her yet. She feels so random). The tag combo even works on Ammy (though I still don’t know what to do afterwards because you can’t get otg->buster->raikousen on her Q_Q).

Speaking of that, anyone got a good combo to kill Ammy with? Right now I’m just getting one steb ender lite extension and DHCing to kill her off with Dante or Vergil, but it’d be nice to have something to kill her for one bar.

Yea, I did some test with lightning just now and it works much better and more consistant - at least for my least than stellar execution. Hopefully that’ll get better over time. I’ve mad a lot of progress since I switched to stick.

I just really don’t want to rely on assists to do high damage/TODs so getting this down will open up a lot of team possibilities.

Dark Sonic you need a kill combo for 1 meter I got it.
Whenever you get a hard knockdown in the corner, like say from j.M j.M j.H j.S
As soon as you land do Sogenmu otg dive buster into lighting loop. It’s what i do against ammy and shuma, since a you said otg dive->buster->raikousen never works on them.

Nini Dear, in a Solo combo, what do you recomend in a “happy birthday” mid screen moment ? shippuga loop is deleted in my options, jump loop is impossible 'cause the air H only do 2 hits, ryuenjin cancel is not reliable 'cause it doesnt work on small chars, the dive kick + buster + raikouzen relaunch in corner is not reliable 'cause magneto, ammy, shuma and maybe others have an stupid hurt box. If im in corner i do with no problem the D-loop, but in mid screen i just do basic ground stuff, basic air stuff, rekouha, xf rekouha -_- or in case, genmu zero.

in vanilla i used the S air M M, Z buster, command dash L, dash, relaunch, but this is so ridiculously impossible in ultimate, it looks like besides the z buster nerf, zero also falls slowly by this command dash, and a basic S, air M M, Z buster raikouzen L, i cant followup with S as soon Zero lands -_-
