i normally just keep it simple and go rekkoha, XF, st.S, j.M j.QCF+H, rekkouha.

is it possible to maintain charge when x-factoring?

No idea but in the combo I do, the buster’s fully charged about half a second before I have to let it go if not just as I let it fire.

I need some help with a Zero/Doom (Hidden Missiles) combo:

In corner: (Buster full charged), S/Launch, SJ. M, SJ. M, release buster, QCB+L (dash down), land, call Doom,
relaunch + buster charge, sj. H, sj.S, land, Doom missiles hit, jump, j. H-lightning, release buster…[/filler]

I want to know what i can do after… i’ve tried to connect an L-lightning after but it seems to miss, maybe i’m timing it wrong, i don’t know… Are there any combos i can follow this up with, preferably lighting dashes (it doesn’t have to be)?

You’re better off using the HM for the first relaunch, and there’s a lot of hit-stun scaling as it is with your combo.

In the corner though, why aren’t you just doing:
magic series, launch, air magic series. land. OTG H Dive xx lv3.Buster, L Raikousen, Launch, air magic series. land, call doom, OTG H Dive xx lv3.Buster, L Raikousen, Launch, sj.MM (while missiles are hitting), H Raikousen, lv3.Buster, H Dive, land, Rekkoha ?? Your combo doesn’t do more damage and is needs more effort too, when you use HM midway in the combo you wont be able to do long combos unless you got an assist like Dante or Wesker for the combo extension.

Wow thanks a lot for posting this up, I was banging my head against a wall trying to do the Nini heart version of this, this is way easier to do and the timing isn’t strict at all on the assist calls.

I’ve noticed you have to do the last sj. M-M, dp. H pretty fast for it to connect while the missiles are hitting. Also, make sure you start charging ASAP after the last buster/relaunch and let them fall a little bit after the dp.H. This should give you just enough time for the lvl3 buster to finish charging. Hope this helps.

I’ve had the most success by inputting the two M’s rapidly although I had the same problem of the buster not being charged enough. I was able to fix that though by simply delayed the launcher prier to that to make sure it had enough time to charge.

Thanks. I’ll work this one out as well… i just want to build on the combo i’ve been practicing since i’ve gotten it down already. I’m still facing dexterity problems with the H-DivexxBuster, L-Raikousen… i have a question concerning this too… does it always have to be H dive or is M dive possible? My team is Zero/Doom/Strider… I’m trying to work some combos with it.

Oh. Zero/Vergil/Dante gets me jealous. It gives me thoughts of dropping Zero/Doom/Strider for Zero/Vergil/Dante… :frowning:

Defo works with M too, some say it’s easier with M Dive. + H Dive hurts hit-stun deterioration a lot more so M is a much safer option anyway.

What’s the best midscreen and corner BNB you can get off 1-bar and Wesker shot assist?

Yes, I was actually just thinking a few days ago that it would be nice to have a new thread that got updated regularly. There’s a lot of useful information in this thread, but it’s all spread out over dozens of pages. I’d like to see some consolidation of Ultimate Zero tech, for sure.

Yeah I felt this way too. Thats why I’ve started keeping up with the Zero video thread now lol . We just need to clean up and get better consolidation.

What is the current UMVC3 bnb for zero for consistency and damage output? Seems live everyone has assist specific variations obviously…but I am looking for something for solo zero.

So I’ve been trying out Zero recently. I’m having trouble getting an untechable knockdown after his [in air] qcf M/H (Seitsuzen I think it was called?)

Anyways, the only way I seem to be able to get the untechable knockdown is if I end an aerial combo with it. I thought maybe it would work if I TK’d with a super jump but I still don’t get a knockdown after [otg qcf H xx lvl 3 buster, L Raikousen, TK qcf M] in the corner.

Can anyone tell me what are the requirements for the untechable knockdown off qcf M/H?

PS. I agree that a new combo thread would be helpful. I’ve gotten so lost in this thread several times because of assist specific combos scattered everywhere and an OP that isn’t updated T_T

Just hit S so they’re in a fly state, and thats all thats required for the hard knockdown

Specific notations for jump loop combo please? Roommate is learning zero and I don’t feel like looking up the notations for him in all honesty. :confused:
