Another question if I may: what is the best way to do the lightning loop?
After I do buster, l.lightning I try to hold forward and do a TK motion, is this the best way?
It doesn’t connect after 2 lightnings because I jump to low because of the TK motion.
Alright, so stealing NiniHeart’s sentinel and Dante extensions, I got a combo that deals 1 mil for one bar off of a crouching M.
2M->2H->5S->sjM->H Sentsuizan->dash H Sentsuizan xxbusterxx->L hienkyaku->dash 5M->5S->sj.MMHS->jump (call sent)->M sentsuizan xxbusterxx->L raikousen->5S->TK L raikousen->TK M sentsuizan->jump H sentsuizan xxbusterxx->L raikousen->call jam session (slight delay)->5S->M raikousen (wait) xxbusterxx->L raikousen->TK M sentuisan->rekkoha.
It works find midscreen (doesn’t QUITE go corner to corner though). You can squeeze in more damage if you started closer to the corner, but be mindful of HSD. If you get too fancy early on the H Sentsuizan xxbusterxx won’t combo for the Dante extension. And even before that, the longer the combo goes, the tighter the timing is for the Dante extension (you have to call Dante asap after the L raikousen, and also delay the S as much as you can. The window for it starts nice and big but it gets smaller as HSD adds up. So far it has been doable everytime the H Sentsuizan xxbusterxx works, it’s just hard).
Zero/Dante extension is SOOOO GOOOD. This shit works FOREVER (or at least longer than any Zero combo we have so far).

HOWEVER, you did let me know that Dante extender works right at the end of a combo so I’ve constructed what may be the BNB for Zero/Vergil/Dante, will record and upload within the hour. It’s pretty much a mixture of my combo, your combo and Kef’s. It should also show everyone that hitstun and hitboxes are IRRELEVANT to Zero (more so than viper?).
You have to delay you lightnings on most characters. It gets kinda tricky. Although you can kinda tell when they’re going to fall out and fix it with buster
Zero has some pretty lulzy combos with buster canceling.
6H->L/M hienkyaku xxbusterxx->5M->stuff. On block it’s an ambiguous crossup (you can let go of buster either before or after you cross up, and using either L or M hienkyaku can throw off their blockswitch timing), on hit it’s just a combo. And if for some reason they manage to block this…it’s just a blocked buster lol you have frame advantage.
You can also do 5S->sj.M->M hienkyaku xxbusterxx (delay)->L raikousen->5S->stuff.
So this is what ive been using for my corner carry …am netting about 600k+ without assists or meter…

I think i should be able to net some decent damage by using some assists…am running Zero/vergil/doom… i think missiles assist should be able to net some high damage but i just like sticking with the beam assist dunno why :\
Also dunno why people think Zero is nerfed bad… the hitstun nerf barely seems to do anything … the only annoying this is that weird jump angle which makes him go under characters…
Nini, out of curiosity, why aren’t you doing the Sentinel assist extension first? Is there too much HSD to add Dante’s assist extension after sentinel’s in those combos? Sure you won’t always have both assists, but if you do I think you should opt for shortening the hitconfirm a little to ensure you get both assists in the externsion.
Also, why didn’t you do 2 raikousens in the sentinel extension? I noticed that you used H sentsuizan for it too (afaik you can’t get a raikousen in the sentinel extension after H sentsuizan xxbusterxx, but it’s really easy after M sentsuizan xxbusterxx). I know it’s a minor issue, I just like Raikousen lol.
Yeah I could get a bit more damage in there, I just did the H Dive>Buster>Command Dash Down>Launch one because that’s the one I’ve been using in actual matches for consistency’s sake. The one with the double Raikousen is finnicky as hell on some characters.
The double assist extension actually works, I just didn’t feel like remapping my buttons to charge switch. Actually, I could have done Sentinel ender lite into Dante, but I didn’t think of that at the moment.
But honestly, the HSD timer is pretty annoying on non clean hits, random stuff like adding a single normal or a slight delay can cause your whole combo to get fucked up.
Tonight while I was playing, people were popping out of 5C after like 3 hits, I really don’t understand how this fucking timer works. It seems so random for some characters.
I know this question is probably asked somewhere else but I’m at work and can’t really search much, so my apologies; it’s eating me up right now. Is there a reason I’m having a hard time doing H Sentsuizan xx Lvl 3 Buster xx L Raikousen on Dr. Strange? He seems to be hovering just a bit higher than other characters after the buster hits.
I explained it in a different thread, but for some reason, characters with a floating stance are almost impossible to do the self-otg to. Since all of the floaters have low HP, changing the combo a bit to eliminate the L raikousen won’t stop the floater from dying in a single combo (with two meters for my team, that is).
Edit: Basically, I replace the raikousen with an L teleport and launch them up again. It takes away a bit of damage, but you can still do around 850,000 damage depending on the character you DHC to after Zero’s super.
Is there a way to get the double lighting ender with Dante assist without having to do the self OTG with lighting? Since it doesn’t work on every character it would be nice.
Team Hunter really does look like the most optimal team for Zero. It…just has everything. With Doom assist nerfed it’s hard to get 800K+ damage off of random hits.
