Haven’t seen anyone else show this, but you can loop raikousen for as long as you have meter.

Sup guys. I’ve been playing Zero for a while now and I wanted to know if there was a way to improve the meter gain of this combo. The goal is to try building 2 bars so I can DHC into Trish and then tag in Dante to finish the combo and kill pretty much everyone.

Combo i’ve been using is:

J.H>2L>2M>2H/5H>6H>5S>J.MM>J.H>J.M>Land>J.MM>Buster>Lightning Dive>5S>J.MM>J.H>J.S>P2(Jam Session)>J.236C>5S>J.M>Buster>J.236C>Rekkoha>DHC into Round Harvest> Tag Dante> Super Jump>Double Jump>J.S>3HHHH>Stinger>J.S>P1(Shippuuga)>623M>J.S>623M~623M>(6C)214H>H mash>Jackpot.

The bolded part is what i’m trying to improve meterwise. I want to be able to finish the combo even if I start from 0 bars, so I need a way for Zero to build 2 meters before the rekkoha. The combo i’m doing with zero builds 1.5 ish so it’s not really enough.

I already seen Steb’s videos lol. Unfortunately, my execution ain’t as godlike, and I always mess up one of the TK dives.

Anyways I found a way to make it work by doing 2H>6H before 5S after the lightning dive.

Tips for landing the lightning combo:

Make sure after level 3 buster you delay the lightning enough so that the 2nd beam connects fully or otherwise you make the timing extremely hard for the next few

Make sure you delay the button press enough so that you aren’t floating just off the ground (again you want the 2nd beam to connect fully)

Let go of the stick to do each shoryuken, otherwise the game registers it as a TK 236 instead of TK 623, also doing it this way ensures that you get a super jump making you higher in the air sooner.

It’s probably not as fast as you think. Practice really high TK lightning back-to-back as soon as possible without shadow to get the feel.

I think I just about maximized the damage out of the lightning loop:

requires: 2 meters

(I used magneto (disrupter) and Dante (Jam session) but I believe it will work with any beam + lightning loop friendly assist. No pre-charge required, works off of level 3 buster as well, just replace the initial ground combo with only :s:.

cr. :m:, cr. :h:, :s:, j. :m:, :m:, :h:, :s:, (dash), P1 (beam assist), j. :qcf: :h: (Sentsuizan OTG), (land), :s:, j. :m:, :m:, (release and then charge again), :dp: :l: (Raikousen), (land), :s:, j. :m:, :m:, :h:, :s:, P2 (Dante jam sesssion or any lightning loop friendly assist),j. :qcf: :h: (Sentsuizan OTG), :s:, (jump release and charge), :dp: :l: (Raikousen), :qcb: :atk: + :atk: (shadow super),(jump release and charge), :dp: :l:, (:dp::uf: :l:) x 4, (jump and release), :qcb: :l: (Ground teleport), :qcf: :atk: + :atk: (Rekkoha).

Should be ~1.1 million damage but may vary due to your assist and how well you perform the lightning loop.

My friend in Nashville was able to do the starting part, basically all it’s missing is the lightning loop combo afterwards.

You can try doing 2L>2M>2H>6H > (5L>5M>2H>6H)x2 like in this video: [media=youtube]Iql4vBgR0T8[/media]
It gives a little more meter than 5S>j.MM>j.H >j.M.

But I don’t think there will be many situations where your combo starts at 0 meter anyways. You already start the round with 1 bar.

Doesn’t the usual buster loop with OTG assists build 2 meters? Maybe not, I never pay attention to meter gain because I usually have a surplus every match with Zero lol.

Most of my matches are like no meter combo into reset for around 5-600, reset into throw or j.H hit into air combo, kill them, now I have like 4-5 meters. I actually put phoenix on my team because I always have so much god damn meter, I’ve pretty much gotten dark phoenix every match I’ve played with the team so far.

But yeah don’t feel bad if you guys can’t do the lightning loop… I can’t do that shit either. Maybe after more practice but I find with things like that, if you don’t practice every day and make it habit, you will lose it very fast. Not worth it IMO when you have the much easier D loop in the corner, although if the combo didn’t start in the corner and lead to it then I do see the application of this. Just so god damn hard though.

Yeah, it’s difficult as hell. But with combos that build between 1.5-2 meters that carry the entire screen, and let you OTG in the corner… in an ideal situation every combo zero does would be ToD. Good luck getting that shit down though, I’ve only hit it in a real match a couple of times. And I’ve been working on it ever since BlackRagna first posted it.

I like the combo but using Wesker without samurai edge as assist is a mistake.
(I’m referring to the video description)

Samurai edge is better because Zero can easily take advantage of the unblockable setups with it

Couple of questions:

  1. I see players use teleport to contineau comboing after an air buster, why do they do that instead of electric slice?

  2. How to do these teleport combo’s? I can’t seem to be quick enough to relaunch them.

  3. How do I pull of Zero’s lvl 3 hyper after an air buster? I can’t seem to hit the ground fast enough.

  4. Sometimes his beam hyper whiffs, how come?

    • The lightning dive might reduce the hit stun too much to continue doing the rest of the combo.
  • The lightning dive sometimes makes you land too close to the opponent, and you end up on the other side of them when you relaunch.
  • If the buster misses, teleporting is safer.
  1. Maybe you’re too far when you teleport. Try dashing when you land and then do the launcher.

  2. Air L Teleport.

  3. The beam hyper doesn’t come out right away. If you’re trying to do the beam hyper after an air combo, try doing it as soon as you land.

lol I play that exact team. its good shit, but the lightning loop is hard as hell
