Yeah, I’ve actually noticed that when I was facing people online. I just need to learn a Touch of Death combo (not BnB) with Zero and learn how to cross up and reset more effectively with Zero. This is why I am constantly in the lab. So far, the only thing I could cross up and get in is air teleport (and pressing H) with Sentinel’s alpha Assist and ground H teleport (canceling into H). If you can offer simplier cross ups, resets or ToD combos, drop a message.

thats a good combo, but I suck at the darkdeath loop (aka marn combo) i find the timing really tricky and its diff on every character I tried doing that doing

but thats where i drop the character, and i don’t know if its because of my timing or because two is the most you can do?? if anyone tries it let me know

If you add a :s: after the Shoryu.:l: it will be easier: you can just relaunch, do your standard air combo, one rep of the loop, release the shot -> hyper.

Can you write out what that would look like as a whole combo?

yea thats what i have been doing, my question was if two was the most you can do, because when you do the loop without the first launch you can do three sets.

u can still bounce with that if u chut down the hits of the down H. but is it possible without corner?

hit stun deterioration is a bitch

The MMH loop is pretty annoying on small chars … but a pretty easy alternative is to just launch them after :m::m::h::m: in the air and the follow up with buster and the rest of the combo… you should still be able to get 600k+

Thanks for posting this. I adapted to use it with my team of Zero / Hulk / Wesker. I can’t get it off half the time, yet, but when it works, it’s breaking 700k (700-750 depending what I hit with).

It’s a great combo and using Buster twice is fun as hell.

Okay, Zeromustlive, threw this together to do it with Hulk instead of Tronne. I left a hit out to make it easier to do, but it’s still 700+ with one meter. It’s your combo :).

The first one is just a basic way to setup the aerial MMH loop. You can get more damage than what I’ve shown. The second one is a 3 meter 911k damage Sougenmu combo. Notation is in the video description. If you time Doom’s Hidden Missiles right, you can do Rekkoha twice.

Not sure if you guys are into DHC Trick Combos… But here goes.

Here’s a DHC reset glitch combo I thought of after seeing the Zero Sougenmu Setsuizan loop.

Requirements: Can be done anywhere. No meter required. Requires Zero Ryuenjin assist and second in DHC order.

j.:h:, st.:l:, cr.:m:, st.:h: xx :rdp:+:h: (mash), cr.:m:, :f:+:m:, jump, j.:m:, j.:m:, j.:h:, land, st.:h:, st.:s:, sj, j.:m:, j.:m:, j.:h:, j.:s:, land, (wave dash 1x or 2x if needed), :db:+:h: ~ Zero Ryuenjin Assist, :qcf:+:h:, jump, j.:h:, j.:s:, land, :qcf:+:l: xx :dp:+:atk::atk:

DHC :qcb:+:atk::atk: (Zero’s Sougenmu) (hold :l: for Charge)

Notes: Make sure to DHC before King Kobun hits. The main parts in this combo are Tron Beacon bomb into Hyper DHC into Sougenmu. What makes this work is that Tron’s combo pushes anyone to the corner and the Sougenmu Setsuizan loop only works in the corner. Again the DHC Reset Glitch resets damage scaling and hit stun detioration (partially) which allows the Sougenmu combo in the corner and that much damage output. Personally, I think it’s worth it in this combo seeing as Tron by herself or a simple DHC does around the 900k ballpark range with two meter. 1200k mark is hit around the last sj. j.:m:, j.:m: point.

edit: I’ll try to put a video of this up sometime. Timing for the DHC is right after Tron says “King…”. It’ll sound like “King […] Zero!”

edit2: If you want to look cool against a 1.2mil health char, you can choose to opt out of mashing drill and end the combo with Buster release (1233,500 damage)

I love the MVC2 music. Capcom should make it downloadable.

The combo is pretty nice, and it’s good to know that like Magneto, if Tron touches you are dead if you had 1 meter before starting the combo.

It’s actually no meter required. I should’ve set it to zero bars -_-;. It builds 2 meter right when :l: Beacon Bomb hits.

But with Capcom’s surprisingly active patching, I don’t expect things like the DHC Trick to last that long.

I hope it does, it’s an important part of my team.

i’m trying to figure out the most efficient way of ending this combo, i have something in mind but idk if it’s possible.

ground combo of l, m, h, shipp, s > j.m, j.m, j.h, charged buster, dp+l + hold l(idk the name haha), s > j.m, j.m, j.h, j.s > tk dive + magneto assist, jump and release buster, dp + l. then i’m trying to land 1 more dive into the rekkoha.

is that even possible? do i need to adjust it slightly to make it all work?

any help is appreciated.
