The damage scaling is kind of dumb in this game imo. It doesn’t seem right that this…

So, i’ve been messing with the combo i posted earlier.
First off all, you just have to wait that the animation of the first :s: finish to super jump. This make the timing a lot easier.
i’ve been practicing it in the corner for the moment and, by removing a before releasing the buster, it’s actually possible to do raikousen, land sougenmu DHC into Doom. All of his hyper connect for full damage. It’s quite nice. DHC into doom after a raikousen is quite effective, i didn’t knew that.
I’ll have to try that mid screen now. And then i’ll try to relaunch after the raikousen to end with rekkoha. I think that the hit stun decay may be too high to do that though.
Sad thing is, after activating sougenmu i cound’t relaunch at all. I was kinda hoping to finish with or or two rep of the D-loop in the corner. Anyway, it could be my timing but i doubt that. The 10 frame start up of sougenmu might be too much
I also tryied to DHC into Dante Demon form before that but of course it doesn’t work.
Zero’s biggest strength isn’t in damage, but in Meter gain. He is probably one of the best batteries in the game given the multi hit normals and the really long and intricate combos. Most difficult and long combos don’t do excessive amounts more damage than the basic but what makes it better is the Meter gain. That first combo only gets you 1 Meter, that 2nd one will get you close to 2 Meter. My Zero never goes for the biggest damage, but the most Meter gain. From the start, my full combo with Doom Plasma Beam and Spencer Armor Piercer assist will build about 2 Meter if I end on Heavy Setsuizan for a reset and the combo isn’t even that hard.
Does this work in every character? The problem in this combo (IMO) is that, the timing isn´t the same in different chars… I Just use a single M, them wait a little and H… and it works in almost everyone… Your tip really works perfect in medium sized characters like Captain America, Ryu… I tried to land this combo because I think a combo with Shoryuken (raikousen) is not that reliable for me ( I use to miss shoryukens a lot of time)… But I still have problems to find a Standard way to get this combo down… and make it works fine in different sized characters.
Yeah, good points I suppose. I guess I have to start thinking in those terms.
The team I have built seems to work very well, but the vast majority of the hypers I use are level 1’s (all 3 of my guys can DHC to each other, no matter what order they happen to be in). The 3’s are useful, though, for Wesker and Zero, so maybe I should start thinking in those terms.
I haven’t tested it, but does doing single hits of moves do more damage than letting all the hits connect, due to scaling? IE: 1 hit of shippuga in a combo instead of all 3?
Also as far as assists for extending combos, pretty much everyone works. Some are easier than others and some take different timing, You can even do it with stuff you wouldn’t think would work like Ammy’s cold star, you just have to do her assist as early as possible, and then do sensuizan as late as possible. You can combo off of other slow assists like Dorm’s black hole and what not in the same manner.
So atleast in that regard, it doesn’t matter too much who’s on your team. The assists are important for getting in and their uses with cross up dashes moreso than if they are easier to combo off of.
In your bnb maybe you not pressing the Taskmaster assist on the right time, press it as you land then do a low to the ground Sentsuizan or just jump and do Sentsuizan its your choice and I don’t recommend mashing the assist at all just learn the timing it will take a bit more practice but it will benefit you in the long run.
I’d like to see some lv3 XF combos that don’t burn meter. Zero gains considerable speed in lv3 XF and it’d be nice to see some setups and enhanced combos for lv3 XF because I’m finding him borderline uncontrollable in that mode. At that point I wonder if Zero can just one-shot characters with normal combos and save meter for unblockable sougenmu setups and stuffing things with Genmu Zero after XF ends.
I have been using the loop i saw marn using and it gets around 660k meterless …

adding genmu zero gets around 970k…
Is there any better damage/Meterbuilding combo Zero has ?.. OP is kinda out of date … sorry if its already posted somewhere
Is there a video of this combo?
Is it me, or is the D-Loop really fucking hard to do online? It’s not so bad offline/in training mode (I can still only get it about 60-70% of the time, though.)
Here are a couple of my “personal” BnBs that I’ve been using for a while now. (Personal meaning utilizing my team assists.) Nothing truly advanced. Would anyone mind helping me out with these to maximize damage (without tacking on X-Factor and extra meter, of course. I can X-factor/DHC any of these to make them OCK.)

(Try as I might, I can’t relaunch into another air combo after Jam Session for more damage as it seems they recover too quickly, but I can’t shake the feeling that I should be able to.)

I dont think its there for that exact combo… but theres a vid for the :h:*2 loop , its basically just that combo with the extra buster shot at the end lol… It works with most assist i tried … even without the jump :s: zero manages to touch near 590k…
This isn’t really new (a variant of it was in my last video, and I’m pretty sure another variant was in Steb’s video), but this combo is good if you’re down to a 1v1 with no XFactor and you need to be able to take someone out in a single hit confirm.

4 meter, no assists, does about 910k. In corner the Genmu Zero can be replaced with jump > Sentsuizan > Rekkoha.

Heres a small vid i made for that combo(crappy cam )… its 660k … I think adding another MMH might give alot more dmg…
Meterless, X-Factor level 3: (1,240,400 damage)
:l::f::h::l::d:
:d::h::f::h::l:
:h::f::h::s: j.
Charge Shot :dp::l: land :s: j.

EDIT: I just realized that the level 3 speed boost makes you fast enough that you can do a full ground series off :l::h::f::h:, so using that at the start instead:
Meterless, X-Factor level 3: (1,360,700 damage)
:l::h::f::h::l::d:
:d::h::f::h::l:
:h::f::h::s: j.

Hi everyone.
Just thought I’d submit one that I use which I have the most fun with.

Notations in video detail.
Edit: Here’s the vid detail.
Sorry about the bad quality, all I had was a camera phone at the time.
This one did 756,800 damage kind of free due to the fact the combo gives you two bars in and of itself. I have max meter on due to laziness but this combo gives EXACTLY 2 bars. This is actually my team but it can work with lots of other assists as well.
A (hold), B, C (3 hit), 6C (3hit) while calling Tron, B, C (3hit), 6C (3hit), E, j.B, j.B, j.C (3hit), Lv.3 Buster, j.623A (hold), B, C (1hit), S, j.B, j.B, j.C (3hit), j.E, call Wesker, E, j.B, Lv.3 Buster, j.623A, j.236B, Rekkoha
The Sentsuizan is annoying to get off (as with everything I try to tiger knee…) but if you miss it say goodbye to around 200k dmg. =/
So, you can release the lv3 buster after a j.mmh, which allow the raikousen to end on the ground with no recovery. Interesting.
And then, you can also do a raikouzen, land jump back dive kick to otg and allow a rekkoha.
Ok, your combo tough me a lot actually, i’ll not dare say “eureka” but that almost sums up my reaction… I’ll have to test that and try to incorporate into mine so that i have something that can travel from corner to corner with Zero. You got a good username Zeromustlive, there’s a good chance that one more Zero will live because of you
Eureka eh
I’ve been messing around with Zero (daydreaming marvel theories)
So some stuff I’ve been focusing on. "What can Zero do all by himself/no assists+lvl 3 xfactor?"
Things I’ve found
Meterless xfactor level 3 combos???
-Zero speeds the fuck up so he can do combo into Raikousen early in the combo without the buster shot
-Can Zero do Raikousen into another Raikousen???
-Zero’s buster charges much faster so he can do faster charge combos
-It’s hard for Zero to do his normal air combo because he flys around so fast. But linking 5s j.M j.H j.2H relaunch is super easy now if you delay your jump from 5s. You also have a z buster charge up by then
Zero OTG relaunch all by himself
-If Zero is able to do a TK divekick to OTG. He can xfactor into a 2/5A or a 5S and relaunch himself.
-Problem is, is it worth it? hitstun scaling might not even allow another relaunch combo, they might reset in the air
-Zero can TK divekick OTG XFC xx Snapback during the XFC freeze to snap somebody out
Genmu Zero Combos
I’m just gathering these thoughts here to see what you guys can think up as well. I’ll be making a video soon to showcase some of this stuff I found.
:d::l: :d: :d::h: :f::h: :l:
:h: :f::h: :l:
:h: :f::h: :s:
After the :s: launcher, the superjump cancel always puts me underneath the airborne opponent and my air-combo starts whiffing, can I not do :h::s: > OTG Hyper after this launch?
You can. You have to delay either the last :f::h: or the :s: at the end slightly so they’re closer to the ground when you launch them. That’ll help prevent you being too far below or going behind them after the s.jump.
