Looks good. Just remember that you won’t always be landing that sweet j.H to start it. Try starting with st.M or cr.L to make sure it doesn’t drop mid-combo.
^ There are definitely a few optimisations you can make:
I personally don’t like how you’ve used X-factor in this combo, but I’m assuming it’s just to show that it’s possible?
Awesome tips from you and Astaroth. Tonight I’ll be back in training mode with Hulk.
EDIT: I always get the two hits from the S. The s.L starts out late enough that the char is still low enough for both hits from the S to connect. If you do it too early on chars like say Tron or Zero, you might not get both hits in (or the c.H will just wiff) but you can always get them in if you delay the L a bit. You can also ensure that you’re close enough and delay the L by simply walking up to the opponent before hitting L. OR if the j.S hits late enough, you can dash, do s.L, c.H, S.
In actual matches, the combo usually starts off with a s.M or c.L. However, that combo sometimes starts off as shown if I think someone’s actually going to attack Hulk coming in. It doesn’t happen often if they get caught with it the first time since it kills. lol
And yeah, even though the late X-factor serves some function, is mostly for show. I like bopping people.

Some more footage of my Hulk this week. Messin around with an otg assist. http://www.twitch.tv/optionselect/b/293816235
My matches are all throughout the first part.
Just figured out how to combo after gamma tsunami using skrulls alpha assist! Check it oouuuuut:

Sorry for the shitty mobile video, but i had to film it
sweet but that would pretty much be corner only. But it’s cool, cuz my new team is Skrull-Hulk-Doom. So I been working on hulk combos, and bnbs.
Also in case you didn’t know. After a mashed hulk command grab, you can dash forward and as soon as hulk’s feet touch the floor call skrullA and it OTG’s for a wall bounce. Midscreen you can relaunch into Tsunami, or ground gamma charge xx L followup xx Gamma Crush. I’ll test the damage later cuz I was in training mode late last night.
Just one video from last week’s Marvel tournament. It shows quite a few things mentioned in the Hulk guide, including midscreen combos using jMM(delayed)S, extended corner combos with assists, command grab, and starting-of-the-match pressure with st.H from grab breaks. My opponent doesn’t play the game much though, so you’ll see a few flubs. The later vids will include better players.

More videos! I didn’t too bad. Looking back, I could’ve used cr.L in a few places, and I shouldn’t have dropped that one “happy birthday” combo.

some footage of my Hulk from yesterday http://www.twitch.tv/optionselect/b/294601637. Start it at the 8 minute mark. I play for a good while.
You’ve really got to work on not doing the random Gamma Crushes. One blocked Gamma Crush can usually result in a dead Hulk.
Be sure to mix up the pressure on incoming characters. You seemed to rely on gamma charge + Doom every time a character was incoming. Stop airdashing characters with j.H/j.S + Doom assist.
Use st.H a little more against Ammy. Dp gamma charge helps stop her forward H spam. st.M/H beats jump-ins.
Predict and expect those rollaways from the corner. Ryan got out of the corner a few times by rolling, which should never happen. React with jump-back S or backdash.
Try not to waste X-factor. Doom is a decent anchor, but without X-factor, he has a really hard time mounting the comebacks for you.
Besides all of these minor mistakes, I’d say you played solidly. You utilized Gamma Wave and Gamma Quake effectively. Hulk’s combos were efficient and most damaging from what I saw. The best part was that insane Deadpool mixup in X-factor. Overhead cancelled into low was… well… I shat bricks.
yea with the gamma charge/ doom mixup i was testing it out more. If they block wrong the beam will sometimes hit them and hulk can launch them for corner combos. One other thing i was trying that whole day was cross-up gamma crushes. If u gamma charge under someone and perform gamma crush at the right time Hulk is right beneath the opponent. And even if it crosses them up, they still get hit the rest of the super. In general i’m still bringing the synergy together with this team, I have some other tactics in the works with them.
And on another note, folks are sleepin on Dooms beam assist. Stuffs out a lot of attacks and allows Hulk to demolish ur opponents assists.
Yeah i did know that! The best follow-up i could come up with from a command grab from like any range is this:
Dash, skrull assist, dash xx jump, j.S, cr.H, S, sj.M, sj.M, sj.S. and then your in range for the Gamma Wave xx Gamma Crush. I got a vid one it

Its at :30
Good play dude. It’s nice to see hulk holding his own against good teams. I don’t think people are sleeping on Doom’s beam at all, maybe just hulk players. Normally Doom beam is like the most or just about most used Doom assist, then missiles then rocks.
Yah, I saw that. Your follow up is better, so I jocked it when I saw it.

Some of my videos from the latest local tournament. Please comment!
Very good matches, and they were fun to watch. The Haggar comeback in the first one was awesome! You also showed that you had knowledge in character-specific combos, as well as exchange combos.
Your Hulk play was solid, aside from dropping a few key combos. That cr.H was adding too much hit-stun deterioration in the the throw combos. Your team works well against rushdown, but beware of zoners. A single Dormammu or Magneto could’ve zoned you easily.
Tournament nerves, for the most part. The dropped combos were mostly doing MMHS instead of MHS in moments of high deterioration, but I’d still rather do cr.H, S, MHS than just S, MMHS. I know by experience that zoners are a hard matchup, but starting right besides them makes a HUGE difference, and I’ve figured some ways to convenientely DHC closer to people that try to go with the zoning plan. Of course, I’m not trying to excuse my sloppy play (I missed at least 2 times Charge xx Tsunami), but I think that even with the mistakes, I played the most rock solid game I’ve ever played in a MvC3 tournament, and I’m looking forward to keep improving.
I might just have to steal that team. I already play hagger and hulk only one I’d have to learn would be sent. I mean this as a compliment.
I can use that thanks!
I played Chris G last night at local tourney in Atlanta, Ga. check it out, there are some other sweet hulk vids of me if your bored.
