Big thanks to Soundymann for posting this, and the great matches.

This is my Combofiend team at work. First matches of the day, and I ain’t at my best. Just wanted to show my Hulk & his Hulk at work. Final match was my best one by far. There’s more “What not to do” moments in her than “What to do” moments, so maybe newbs can learn from my mistakes.

good shit bro, I subscribed to your channel so i def look forward to more videos, your team is very anti-DERP rushdown, usually countering those who would jump at you without thinking, usually i see a lot of trolls and turtles using that team online but you’re the first player i’v seen who uses that team with knowledge of combos and synergy. good stuff man!

Some footage of my Hulk again http://www.twitch.tv/optionselect/b/298874431. Hulk starts at 1:46.

Solid play as usual. The only real mistakes I saw was not delaying j.MMS enough. It caused your otg assist to miss a few times.

Ryan’s team contains what I assume to be the biggest two weaknesses in your team: Ammy, and a lack of a low-hitting assist. Ryan knows that Hulk gets no damage from his ground throw, so he just blocks low all day. Ammy ducks the Doom assist, rendering it useless.

While your otg assist allows for great happy birthday combos, it lacks the option of opening up your opponent with unblockables. Just the threat of a low assist makes people hold up. This allows for easy air throw combos.

Local team tournament finals, my teammate is the one playing She-Hulk, I start to play at like 12 or 13 minutes in the video. My matches end up being a lot shorter :P. I feel that I made a lot of mistakes, as my teammate was also relying on me and I still can’t shake off the tournament nerves, fortunately my team did surprisingly well against my opponent (and TBH, even though he’s one of the best around here, he clearly wasn’t on his better day). Also, thanks to everyone that has posted here and in youtube about the previous videos for the compliments/criticism

Got some good time on the stream this past monday http://www.twitch.tv/optionselect/b/300627645.

I didn’t watch too much of it, but I was a bit confused on the lack of otg for Hulk. You were missing out on a lot of damage, and not even dhc’ing was killing characters. cr.L,st.H is a solid string for small characters that I’m going to steal. Given your odd team, good stuff though.

This time both me and ReggieBob got some hulk action on stream http://www.twitch.tv/optionselect/b/301827709. I start on part 2 at the 46 minute mark. ReggieBob plays before me.

Just out of curiosity has anyone else seen Zangiefan’s Hulk on the Peaceful Jay’s stream? That dude’s Hulk is absolutely sick, usually converts his hits to OHKO’s with his Hulk/Sent/Wesker team.

Can you link us to an archive? I’d like to see it.

I’ll look to see if I can find any in the archives, here’s the stream for right now (he tends to pop on a bit)

hey i was able to implement Hulks infinite in some matches this past Monday http://www.twitch.tv/optionselect/b/302457024. A good one is at the 1hour 42 min mark.

I watched some of that stream - nice work Sinister - couple pieces of feedback if you don’t mind…

To land the infinite more consistently, use the H version of up charge - it gives you heaps more time to charge for Gamma Wave, which means your spacing is a lot easier to adjust - basically, as soon as you land from the H follow up (while charging back, not down-back) go straight in to Wave if you need to be closer, or walk back a little if you need to be back. Simple

Use Deadpools OTG to start the infinite more - a couple of times I noticed you would OTG in the corner with Deadpool then use s.M, f.M, launch into combo - it’s heaps easier to just do OTG into H up charge, because I’ve found that more often than not, it’s easier to start the infinite from up charge than it is from an air S (up charge + follow up makes them land face down, head towards you rather than air S which has them land feet toward you, face up)

Besides that, I really like your team - I’m thinking about Deadpool for the OTG assist - I’ve been having a bit of a character identity crisis since Tron assist got nerfed

Your Hulk play wasn’t too bad. A little too much st.H and j.S though. A better opponent would punish your predictable patterns.

I think your team needs a little work. An otg assist would allow you to do relaunch combos midscreen, effectively killing 80% of the cast from one hit anywhere. Daggers of Denak is a little slow, so I don’t see how it could help you get in against zoning teams.
