Huge-fighting-franchise-to-return-at-e3

people are forgetting that a new GG would be announced on the arcade AOU since more than probable it would be an arcade game 1st

lololololololol bloody roar lololollolollo

Good point but it did say fighting franchise would make a return. Maybe its a non fighter Guilty Gear.

If it’s Smash, I hope the pick up on recent trends and learn from the vast amount of mistakes in Brawl.

Melee was the pinnacle of the Smash series. Easily accessible for casual play allowing the game to sell millions with a gigantic layer of depth for the hardcore.

Agreed

100000000%

Man if they did a cvs3 and the trailer started off with OoooooOooh yeahhhh~ (this is a true we making theme) and the cvs2 announcer saying “this battle is about explode” FIGHT! and then faded from black…

I’d prob kill a kitten

a new Tobal would be cool, hell i only want Tobal 2 with hd graphics

How about a new 2D, HD Samurai Shodown???

Melee came out like a month after the Gamecube did.

I’m pretty sure is Soul Calibur V, the tweet is talking about the content of the magazine itself, not the E3.

I’d love a new Bushido Blade, but that’s hardly a big series sadly.

New GG would be nice. Vf5FS would be the best news but I doubt they are talking about that. Even if it isn’t it will be about time VF5FS got a console port. It’s probably going to be SC5.

my hopes:

  1. brand new fatal fury (or garou) game
  2. new darkstalkers
  3. clay fighter vs primal rage vs killer instinct

my expectations:

  1. sc5
  2. smash bros

Blindly guessing here, but I think maybe it’s just a Smash game for the 3DS.

i’m putting money on this.

He forgot to mention that it’s developed by Ryota Niitsuma.

Capcom has been doing a lot of Rival Schools stuff om Capcomunity.

I can only hope.

Rival Schools wasn’t really a “huge” franchise though to my knowledge.

That’s still pretty damn close. And considering that the Gamecube and Melee came out at the end of 2001, aka the Christmas season, the distinction between one month and another is irrelevant. At least it was for me as I didn’t know there was a new Smash at the time, let alone the Gamecube.

I think there’s a strong possibility of it being Smash, whether or not the SRK hipsters consider it a fighter (when just about everyone else out there does). Just keep Sakurai’s ideals out, remove random tripping, and give the game actual combos instead of just DI (which is a great idea in itself).

Killer Instinct 3.

Seriously.
