Huge-fighting-franchise-to-return-at-e3

Hahaha, love this!

After all the hysteria I think DS.

This most likely

Come on Darkstalkers!!!

…I know its not gonna be Darkstlakers :frowning:

Where does it say that the game is unannounced though? Quite frankly I’d be shocked if the zombie games are anything but Capcom’s new Resident Evil shooter and Dead Island.

Vf would be a huge let down but it’s at the tip of the list.

Battle arena toshinden
Darkstalkers

Toshinden already had a revival on Wii, and I think it was kinda bad. At least, no one cared.

Eternal Champions plz.

Its not going to be KOF 13. Fersis on NeoGaf said it won’t even be at E3.

It’ll probably be the long awaited sequel to Rise of the Robots 2.

It will just be the AMERICAN reveal of SC5 with more stuff actually shown instead of just the trailer.

I’m (desperately) hoping for Darkstalkers 4 and Capcom vs. SNK 3, which won’t happen. :frowning:

I won’t be upset if it’s Guilty Gear XXX (lol) or Super Smash Bros. Clash. (as long as they don’t have anymore 3rd party characters and tripping)
Power Stone 3 or Rival Schools 3 would be nice.

I wouldn’t care for anything else.

I think it’ll be VF.

Maybe it’s KOFXIII console announcement.
Although I hope Rival Schools3 or CvsS3, although neither is realistic.

No godlike announcer, then no CvS3. Seriously

I’ll still play it.

Smash at the Nintendo conference for their HD system done by Retro.

Possible options to my knowledge:

Guilty Gear - Assuming the series ever met the story’s definition of “big”, I’d say that the chances of the new game being Guilty Gear X3 is between a hell no and not a fuck’s chance in hell. It would be a market suicide for BB. GGX3 revealed? You just lost your tourney scene. They’re now back to playing slash/accent core online gearing up for the new game. Also, the animu crowd isn’t to big on brand loyalty, so they’ll probably be too hyped for their new animu fighter for BB.

Granted, Arc sys does seem to be gearing up for a new GG coughshootercough, but they’re sure as hell not announcing it now.

Smash Brothers - when was the last one out again? This sounds plausible to me, assuming the story considers this a fighter. I guess a new party whatever-won’t-get-me-flamed would be nice… I guess.

Darkstalkers - I wish. More likely than GG, but not by much I don’t think. I believe Ono’s hyping was just troll advertisement 3rd strike online. I don’t believe we’ve seen everything that Seth was refers to when he says, “it’s an exciting time to be a fighting game fan”, but I’m doubtful that this is what he meant.

Total fantasy wish: gets made by Arc sys. I mean, what are they doing now sides maybe BB DLC/BB3?

Soul Caliber - Assuming this wasn’t officially announced yet, I’d say that this is the most likely one. Not my fighter, but hey.

Virtual Fighter - Definitely not big, so yeah.

Killer Instinct - Hope not because I don’t know of any good fighting game makers that don’t already have they’re plate full already. Rare’s been hyping up the possibility though. Another likely one though.

That’s about it.

it’s Fatal Fury you fools!!

this november marks its 20th anniversary, perfect timing and from what I’ve heard is/was well known in the UK

This would make sense. Nintendo should know by now that releasing Smash as a launch title would sell their system better than making people wait a year or so for it like they’ve done in the past. However, it’ll probably not happen. Nintendo has a history of holding out on their blockbuster first-party titles for a few months.

I doubt they would do a Smash game without at least some input from Sakurai.
